Aside from the recent Ziggler cash-in, for about a year now, the World Heavyweight Championship has mostly been contested by the stalest of the Main Event B-Squad. Just curious to see who everyone is actually interested in seeing compete for the second biggest prize in the industry.

Most won't agree, but I think Orton at least can stand to challenge for the belt a few times. Its been way too long I think.
Having Sheamus/Show/Orton/Henry being booked much stronger than the Ziggler/Swagger/ADR group is doing them no favors.

I don't mind the WHC getting demoted to the title for the B-Team (or C-Team, really, since the whole Orton/Sheamus/Big Show/Mark Henry tier are secondary to Cena/Punk/The Legends, but still above the current WHC); makes the WWE championship seem more special again.
I'd say the guys who deserve to hang around this level are Del Rio, Miz, Bryan, Ziggler, and Fandango. Maybe Jericho should slum around here too, since he's mostly around to lose to guys who need notable wins these days, and midcardish heels like Barrett and Swagger can work there way up from time to time.

I went with Bryan, Rhodes, Henry, Cesaro, Ziggler, Langston, Ryback.
Orton and Show should be around the WWE title scene, which I thinks needs to be bigger than the Cena/champ, Rock, and whoever random else that month. Sheamus and Del Rio should drop down the card a little bit and liven up the IC title scene and mixing it up with Barrett. Fandango is perfect where he's at. Jericho is part-time so doesn't really need to be involved with the title, but if around full-time Jericho should be in the top tier. Jack Swagger should just drop off the face of the earth, from a wrestling perspective. Miz and Ryder are good lower-card wrestlers. And Kane...just Kane it up, he's never been about belts.

Orton, Henry, Big Show, and Sheamus should really be in the WWE Title picture. Bryan, Miz, Del Rio, and Kane should be occasional challengers for the WHC, sometimes stepping down to IC level when needed. Swagger and Fandango should be on IC level to help bolster the IC Title scene but occasionally getting a shot at the WHC, or even the WWE Title whenever a fresh contender outside of the usual suspects is needed. Jericho moves up and down the card where he's needed. Ziggler remains World Heavyweight Champion forever until they decide to finally unify the belts. Most won't agree, but I think Orton at least can stand to challenge for the belt a few times. Its been way too long I think. Having Sheamus/Show/Orton/Henry being booked much stronger than the Ziggler/Swagger/ADR group is doing them no favors. I don't think Sheamus/Show/Orton/Henry are booked stronger, than Ziggles and Friends, but they do seem to be more important. While the World Title picture does seem to get more focus on RAW, on SmackDown, where the WHC should be the main focus, Big White Chocolate Snakes are given a much bigger focus, closing out the shows and getting a good chunk of TV time, despite the fact that they're mostly directionless atm.

Seems like Bryan should contend for and win this belt again.

A babyface Dolph trying to chop down beast-mode Mark Henry would be a fun feud.

I generally really really dislike Orton, but a feud against Ziggler for the WHC would be fresh and not too bad for a month or two program. Assuming he doesn't win it of course.

When Del Rio wins the title from ziggler within the next few months (because he will). I want him to hold the until WrestleMania 40 where he'll retire as undisputed king of the universe. Just Kidding....or am I -_-
Honestly I'd like UnderTaker, Kane and Mark Henry to have one last title reign before they all retire. That's immediate.
As for the future. Like in the next year. Definitely Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, and Orton. Orton or D Bry being first then possibly losing it to Cody.
As for future as in next 2 years. Definitely Dean Ambrose, Ohno and Johnny Curtis(after he drops the fandango gimmick).

Honestly, I just want some variety in the title picture. When I was a kid, I remember the various championship programs were so different it was cool to watch. You never had time to get bored with a feud because they didn't extent it too long. They seemed to switch gears exactly at the right time. Now, it's the same old thing for 6 to 8 months.

John Cena, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, The Rock, Undertaker, CM Punk
Want the title to matter again? Have main eventers fight for it. Simple as that.

Well, by the IC's value in the mid-80s through to the early-90s. The only way you'd have guys like that vying for it is if they're on their way down the card, but too important to be deemphasized.
