Surprisingly, as much as I was into the Disney-Capcom games when they were coming out, I didn't play this one until recently. It was very good, but I was kind of struck by how hard it was, especially compared to the others. It's really unforgiving in some parts.
I think it would have been held in higher regard if it didn't have the misfortune of being compared to DuckTales and Rescue Rangers.

Darkwing Duck is by far the most badass of games on the NES that isn't named "Battletoads"

It's my favourite Megaman game, I'm not just saying that to be sarcastic I genuinely prefer it to Megaman.

Quackerjack is the only boss I could ever get to more than once(I think I got to Liquidator on one occasion through sheer luck). Also played it back when I sucked at video games.

Good game. Then again most Capcom games were pretty good on the NES. It was challenging from what I can remember too. It's been since the early 90's since I last played it but I think I beat it. I actually seen this game for $30.00 at a retro gaming store yesterday. I didn't buy it...I might if it gets put on the V.C. though.
