Even some I enjoy the most like Louis CK, Chris Rock and George Carlin are all guilty of this to some extent. Of course it's understandable as there is only so much material one person can come up with and make funny. However, who manages to avoid it the most?

Jeff Dunham (I like him!) has been original in all of his DVD specials, from what I remember.

Andy Kaufman is probably up there. Really? I haven't heard any new jokes from him since the 80s.

Hence not recycling someone elses joke It is, I'm sure FutureRaven was joking. Also 'Raven, love the avatar, Marcus is such a pro. As far as this thread I think Frankie Boyle is pretty good for it unless we're counting Mock The Week as a Frankie Boyle show because he usually uses some of that material on his stand up or vice versa. I think when Henry Rollins is being funny he's very funny and original, I know he's not a stand up per say however he does stand up shows so I guess he could count?

Patton Oswalt has made a point of never doing bits that have been recorded for his albums and specials after they are released.

Ross Noble.
Can't even guarantee he will do the same set night after night on one tour, he's that prone to going off on tangents.

Louis CK has stated before that he throws out his entire set and starts anew after a year.

Patton Oswalt has made a point of never doing bits that have been recorded for his albums and specials after they are released. Came here to post this. On opposite end of the spectrum, Katt Willams does the same jokes every special and every show. Once you've seem him once, you've seen his routine for the past 7+ years.
