This week's RAW is back in America and live from Columbus, OH. And since last week's RAW went off the air, new questions have come up, especially about the status of the WWE Champion's Achilles tendon.
John Cena is set to team with his opponent at Extreme Rules, Ryback, in tonight's main event, a 3-on-2 handicap match against The Shield. Back at the Elimination Chamber, Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins were able to defeat Cena and Ryback, even when those two had Sheamus as a tag team partner. This week, they don't even have that luxury, plus Ryback and Cena don't exactly see eye to eye these days, and Cena gave Ryback the Attitude Adjustment last week, and Ryback supposedly injured Cena's heel during the European Tour. How exactly does this equal a Shield loss?
The Shield are fresh off one of their biggest ever feats, as last Friday on SmackDown, despite Dean Ambrose tapping out in singles competition to The Undertaker, the Hounds of Justice came together, were able to take the Deadman down, and gave him the Triple Powerbomb through the announce table. If they could do that to The Undertaker, just imagine what's in store for either Ryback or an injured Cena tonight.
Dolph Ziggler continues his reign as World Heavyweight Champion, and if he gets it his way, another title will be joining his group soon. Last week on RAW, AJ Lee used her smarts (as much smarts as you can use after Tamina Snuka kicks your head off) to trick Layla and win the Diva Battle Royal, earning a shot at her former Chickbuster friend Kaitlyn's Divas Title. Although Kaitlyn was able to get the win over Lee on last week's NXT, that came about in other circumstances, so how will things shake out this time round? And will Ziggler or Big E Langston get involved in the Chickbusters' matters?
After Ziggler defeated Chris Jericho on RAW last week, he sat and watched on SmackDown as his two challengers for the World Heavyweight Title, Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger, pulverised each other with various weapons, as Swagger got the victory. Does all this brutality give the champion the edge, as his two challengers beat each other into submission?
Fandangoing continues unabated, as Fandango keeps picking up victories. However, the rivalry with Chris Jericho isn't quite over, after Y2J attacked him last week, and stole his dance partner. What will Fandango's next steps be in retaliation?
Plus, Team Hell No, Kofi Kingston... other things... all on RAW tonight!
