I like what I'm seeing in regards to Pokemon design. I wasn't a fan of a good deal of the designs in G5. It's kind of hit and miss with me, though for the most part I like them. Don't really like basically any of the legendaries outside of Victini, Meloetta, and the Musketeers and some others here and there, but I can think of plenty I do like. Say the weak link design-wise for me is G4, a lot of them just look really goofy or lazy.

I think my only real issue with G5's designs was it was beyond obvious that they were using the G1 Mons as inspiration, maybe they changed the types for some of them, but it was clear they were intended to be the spiritual successors to the G1 Mons.

Anybody see the new Eevee 3DS being revealed in Japan? F***ing hell that thing is ugly. Yes the Pikachu 3DS XL that thing is not. IMO, what an Eevee 3DS should look like is somewhat similar to the Pikachu one, but make the top and bottom Eevee brown instead of Pikachu yellow and make the hinge area/inside Eevee cream(as in the color of Eevee's collar fur) instead of the white on the Pikachu 3DS, and on the top either put a pic of Eevee or if you want to be minimalist, just put Eevee's eyes, nose, mouth, and the inner black parts of its ears, basically put Eevee's face without putting an outline around it. Boom. That would be one classy looking system.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Fake? It might be. On the fence about it. Serebii hasn't said anything about it yet, but we often get fakes during these. That said, could be the real deal. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Though, a leak of a leek-wielding pokemon would be pretty funny.

I don't think it'd be a final design, but I think it's plausible it could have been a concept sketch. That said, I would not be surprised if it was fake.
Though, it'd be hilarious if Luvdisc, Delibrd and Farfetch'd got evolutions that somehow made them very powerful.

If that's legit, I think Square-Enix about to sue someone.

The blue slime blob thing looks a little too similar to the blue slimes from Dragon Quest. Different shapes, maybe, but it is very clear the DQ Slimes had a heavy part in influencing whoever drew that.

Some rumors from Pokebeach: -Pancham evolves into Pangoro in the early level 30s. In order to evolve Pancham into Pangoro, you need to have one other Dark-type Pokemon in your party. Pangoro’s type is Fighting/Dark. -A Pokemon named Inkay evolves into Malimar. To evolve it, you have to hold your 3DS upside-down when it levels up (the 3DS has an accelerometer and gyroscope, so it can detect that). Malimar’s type is Dark/Psychic. -A Psychic-type Pokemon named Espurr (ESP + purr) evolves into Meowstick (Meow + mystic?). (Sounds like Psychic-type cats. Meowstick’s name sounds too similar to Meowth to me though.) -Like in B/W you have two rivals – one is friendly and the other is competitive. Your rival that is more friendly gives you his/her fully evolved starter Pokemon after you beat the game. -Another professor named Sycamore gives you either Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle. -Even though it shows the player riding on a Gogoat in the new trailer, players can’t ride on their own Pokemon. What was shown is just an alternate way of getting around Lumiose City and it only works with Gogoat. -HMs still exist but there’s a lot less of them. -Players will be able to see their Pokemon’s EVs (probably through the same in-game facility mentioned in the other post). -A new move, Belch, is a Poison-type attack that has a base power of 120. The user must consume a held Berry to perform it. -Draining Kiss is a Fairy-type attack that heals the user for the same amount of damage performed. It has a base power of 60. -If the previously revealed forme of Mewtwo can be said to look roughly similar to Mewtwo’s original design, the second supposed form of Mewtwo can be said to look roughly/vaguely similar to Mew‘s design. -In case you missed our correction the other day, the Starters’ final evolutions are Fire/Psychic, Grass/Dark, and Water/Fighting.

Let all of these be real! If the one about the rivals and second professor are true, depending on what the friendly rival gets decides which Gen 1 starter I choose. I'm picking Froakie so my Gen 1 starter will either be Charmander or Bulbasaur.

Now knowing what the typing of the Starters' final forms are, I'm very interested to see what they look like.
Pangoro sounds like a badass Pokemon, I hope the look matches.
