Light type would be interesting. You'd have to assume the two mascot legendaries are part Light type if that ends up being true, considering how they both like to glow in pretty pretty colors.

I just wonder how it would fit in with weakness and advantage. Obviously its two main rival types will be Dark and Ghost. It'll be super effective against one, weak against the other. It wouldn't really make sense for it to have advantage over both or weak to both(it has to be good at beating at least one type and weak to at least one type). I think it would be weak to Dark, but super effective to Ghost, imo.

Xerneas (Pokemon X) is going to be a fairy-light type while Yveltal (Pokemon Y) is going to be dark/flying type.

Originally I was going to not post this information because it's a Pokemon X and Y rumor and most of the rumors have been false. But this one is a expectation because the information comes from Hiro; the same person who leaked the Black and White Pokedex. So this rumor does have some weight behind it.

Here is the rumor:
"There will be a new type..The Type is called Fairy"

• Xerneas is said to be Fairy Type.

• Sylveon is also said to have the new Fairy typing.

• Yveltal gets Dark/Flying typing.

Here is another rumor that is much less likely, it doesn't come from Hiro but someone called Dan claming to have talked to Hiro.
"So I talked to Dan over twitter and using google translate, and this is what he told me:

Clefairy, Clefable, Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff, Audino, Chansey, Blissey, Snubbull, Granbull, Plusle, and Minun will be the only one's that will be retyped to Fairy, with Plusle/Minun being Fairy/Electric, and Snubbull/Granbull being Normal/Fairy.

The other pokes I named will lose their normal typing for Fairy. Togetic will NOT be retyped to fairy, because it already has two types (Normal/Flying) and has a secondary egg group that would ruin its movepool-breeding with other pokes."

If that the case then the pokemon I think that well get their type changes to fairy or become half fairy are...

Gonna say it again since it was the second last post in the last thread but Ciniccino is a seriously underrated and rock solid pokemon. It's pretty damn fast, hits for pretty good damage if it has technical or skill link and it's only real flaws are its terrible defense and poor health.

Reminds me, I've been meaning to try out an Azumarill and Cinccinno team, to try and use Skill Link Bullet Seed running off of Sap Sipper. Though that might work better with Zebstrika instead of Azumarill, I dunno.

That actually wouldn't be that amazing. Sap Sipper only goes up by one level when Bullet Seed is used.

Decided on a whim to rewatch the first episode for the first time in many years (it's on Dailymotion, as are a lot of other early episodes), for some reason, and... Yeah, it's weird to look back at. Mostly for the voices, especially Ash's, being very different, and Pikachu being way more of a dick in it than I remembered.
