Hard to pay any attention to Chael anymore. Nothing he says has any credibility. I know he's just a guy that talks and tries to get attention, but when the attention is millions of eyeballs rolling it's pointless.

Is he the same MMA mook that got all whining about not being shown on TV? No that was Mark Coleman. But I wouldn't be surprised if Chael Sonnen tries to get into the WWE when his MMA career ends as his stock has fallen dramatically now that Jon Jones destroyed him with ease and that he can no longer talk his way into undeserved title shots.

Its amazing how many people miss the fact that Chael is playing a heel and think his words are real. Almost like this isn't a wrestling forum.

I wouldn't mind. He's already pretty good on the mic, has an amateur wrestling background and is a fan. I mean, dude named his pizza parlour after the Mean Street Posse!

Well it would make sense as the WWE would be the only place where he will be able to ever hold a championship belt

Possibly that and a fatal fourway (or whatever the hell TNA would call it) title match between him and King Mo, AJ styles and Frank Trigg.

Nah, he'd get destroyed by that King Mo guy. So TNA and Spike could justify the push they gave him, and the amount of money. And so they could say Bellator > UFC.

It's amazing how quickly you seem to forget that UFC/MMA is presented completely as a shoot and none of us should have to work out if a guy in a "real" sport is playing a character. That would mean that we'd have to question everything every sportsman has ever said because hey they might just be playing a character in a "real" bloody sport for no reason! I've always said MMA/UFC was worked but the fact is that they're supposed to just be real sportsmen, this would be like Rory McIlroy saying he wanted to buy Pepsi Co. when he retired and everyone jumping all over him because he acts a certain way. UFC fighters are supposed to be people, not characters.

UFC fighters are supposed to be people, not characters. A show's a show, and showmanship always gets you ahead. Whether or not the actual matches are scripted has nothing to do with that. Muhammad Ali was as much a character as a person (and patterned his persona after Gorgeous George, no less).

I dunno, "The man who lost due to missing a backfist Vs the Man who lost to the wussiest backfist in history" doesn't sound like the greatest selling point ever.

The thing I'm most shocked about is that the WWE is only worth 1/2 a billion. Thought it would be more than that x

Mike Tyson was really planning on eating children? (That one might be a bad example) Athletes have been creating public personas for years, to get upset over Chael's "Chael P." routine is silly, anyone who watched TUF this season could tell you that's not who he is.

Only on this forum could a man have a record of 27-13-1, be an extremely talented wrestler and not be considered credible.
C'mon, ya'll.

I think alot of the hate comes from the fact he was calling Anderson Silva, who everyone seems to love. Personally, I think Anderson's over rated and boring. The thing that pissed me off most before the second match was people acting like Chael got his ass kicked first time. Way I remember it, Anderson got the living snot punched out of him and managed to get a lucky triangle armbar.

How is he going for heel heat by saying that he's going to buy the WWE? Everyone knows that it's not getting sold for a long time if ever, so ultimately it becomes some guy talking just to hear himself talk.
