Simple question what is the best country in the world right now from a Pro Wrestling perspective? I picked what I feel are the 4 best currently but personally my vote goes to Japan. They're the only country in the world where almost every company makes money and most promotions work together also.
What's your opinion on this? It'd be preferable to give reasons below.

Japan used to be like that. However, New Japan was purchased by Bushiroad last year and All Japan was sold to Speed Partners in February and really never regained its momentum after Misawa and his supporters left. Noah has struggled with Misawa's passing and HUSTLE, which was the most profitable Japanese wrestling company during its existence, closed shop.

For the best promotions, the US. For the best individual wrestlers, Canada.

America easily. The no 1 wrestling company on the planet is WWE. Japan pro wrestling has almost zero exposure outside of Japan. Mexico is the same. England doesn't really have it, they just have indies like Australia.

I have the feeling that if NJPW hired an English announce team (in addition to their current team) and translated their promos into English they could get a TV deal in the US and build up at least a sizable cult following. Heck, given recent interest in Asian culture there is a small chance it could even go mainstream. They are certainly capable of doing it, but I think the owners just don't want to. Not sure why as it would give them more money, but it may be partly because of racism and dislike of outsiders from some in control of the company. From what I've heard some Japanese wrestling companies won't even sell merchandise to non-Asians (or at least not to Caucasians).
