Dumb and Dumber will always be a slapstick masterpiece to me. The Mask and Liar Liar I also still like. I don't care for the other two at this point, but I was never a big fan of them to begin with.

I'd have to watch most of them again to be sure. I like Liar Liar, but I just cannot get into Dumb and Dumber. Even though I haven't seen it, The Cable Guy is definitely dated just based on the title and Carrey's character alone.

Cable Guy and Dumb and Dumber are the only ones that even remotely hold up. And Man On The Moon, which was actually underrated when it came out. Pretty much this. I'd also include The Truman Show due to his everyman persona. He wasn't cutting jokes constantly but it was a charming kind of humor.

I will always laugh at Dumb And Dumber. I also actually somewhat enjoyed The Cable Guy. However,I never liked the Ace Ventura movies. I could never get into them.

In the last two weeks I have watched every one of these movies, the Ace movies multiple times. because they happened to be on late during my third shift nights at work. Still funny.

The Cable Guy is great, and the Mask is still good. I can take or leave Dumb & Dumber.
The Ace Ventura movies manage to still be pretty good in spite of Jim Carrey's schtick in them, which has fallen victim to being referenced and parodied so much that it's in a weird place of seeming like a poor imitation of a character, despite being the original.

The Cable Guy is the only one I find funny. Never liked Dumb and Dumber. But to me Carrey's style of humor mostly only works in small doses. That is why he was great on In Living Color.

The only one I don't like is The Mask. The others I still watch all the time.

Everything Jim made from Dumb and Dumber or Ace Ventura (not sure which one came first, I think Ventura did) is funny up until Man on the Moon (which is great). Everything post Man on the Moon in my opinion has been horrible.
I have wasted weeks of my life watching Dumb and Dumber

With the exception of Ace Ventura 2, yes.
Always thought The Cable Guy was/is underrated. I think the biggest thing that hurt it when it came out is that people expected the usual Jim Carrey and didn't quite "get" what he was going for in that one.

Having just got done watching Liar Liar earlier today, I have to say a resounding YEAH! Always loved Jim Carrey, and I probably always will.

Yes.
Speaking of which, is Dumb and Dumber 2 still happening?

Dumb and Dumber and The Cable Guy are classics and are both on my Top 10 comedies of all-time.
The Ace Ventura movies, Liar Liar, The Mask, Me Myself & Irene, etc. are painful to sit through these days.

Anybody who says the films have lost their value overtime was obviously not a fan of those movies to begin with. They were either funny or they weren't to people. I don't see them as starting funny then becoming dated. Comedy, while subjective, can definitely age.
