BTW, does anyone know if Lizzy Caplan is going to be in this series since she played a character that was eventually recruited into SHIELD? She has said she is not. And yeah, that's gotta be Cage. Looks a bit young imo, but I guess they are going more for the Ultimate Spider-Man version I agree and with that look he looks like the Modern Version of Cage as well, can't wait for this show

Thinking about it if successful this may be an excellent way to introduce lesser known or street level heroes into general public's knowledge.

Something I've been saying since the movie came out, and people called me mad! Think about it, why would Fury fabricate evidence if there was a dead body? It makes no sense. The fabricated evidence was, imo, only meant to push Cap into action. Caulson was, all things considered, pretty close to Tony, at least the guy in S.H.I.E.L.D. Tony knew the most, so just hearing that he died would be enough to push Tony into action. But Cap? Cap needed the extra push. "Hey, Cap. This SHIELD agent was your biggest fan, and now he's dead. What are you going to do about it?"

Kind of going to the opposite of that other thread here aren't we? Black guy has gotta be Cage! Could be a new character, could be Patriot. We don't know. Patriot?! God, it better not be. I hate that character

Fury: Cap, America is under attack! Cap: Not America! *hops on Motorcycle* Of all the characters that needed a push, you think the true believer needs the help?

They needed a push to overcome their issues with each other and work as a team. Regardless of whether you care about them on a personal level or not, knowing someone who has died tends to make you refocus.

Plus he was still adjusting to huge culture shock and was a bit crippled by the world he was in. So crippled that he dove out of a plane and went toe to toe with two gods and engaged in a firefight with corrupted soldiers. The only characters that really needed a push from a story standpoint were Iron Man and Hulk. Iron Man heard about Coulson and was determined. Hulk just got random motivation from a Janitor. But no, Cap needed cards to push him out of his crippling. Not a body, not AMERICA!, but Captain America trading cards. The death was faked. From a scriptwriting standpoint, there is no reason to show doubt on a plan unless it's hiding something, namely Coulson being dead. Otherwise, Cap could have seen the body.

Not saying Coulson death wasn't faked, I have said it from the start. I kind of feel a life model decoy coming though. When Cap fought the gods and soldiers it was direct action he didn't have time to think. By the time they sat down he had been going head to head with Stark and getting to know others and realizing how little he fit in with them. He wasn't all "America, f-yeah!" because he was struggling understanding what America is now and if it is his.

Seeing as we are playing the guessing game on Mr Jump out of a window. It could be Patriot, Luke Cage, Midnight Sun, Tom Foster (Goliath) or Night Thrasher. If Marvel are going the film based Kingpin/Electro route where nationality doesn't matter then it could be any marvel city-based superhero with endurance.

I've been hoping that they use Coulson's death/reappearance to introduce Life Model Decoys, but that could also prove to be convoluted.

Cage smage. I'm going to hold to the deluded hope that it's Rage. Though, seriously, what the heck is with Cage possibly being in this when so many classic SHIELD agents aren't? I'd mark like mad for a proper Jasper Sitwell.
