The Region 2 DVDs now have subtitles on most new releases (with the exception of Tagged Classics) but as I recall, Region 1 DVDs did not come with captions for the hard of hearing. Has this now changed or is it still the case? If they are still without captions then isn't it discriminatory against deaf/hard of hearing viewers? (And yes, I know some people will deem being unable to hear Lawler's commentary a benefit).

I don't know if it has recently changed but I know they didn't for the longest because their was a petition going around as recent as a year or so ago to have them added.
Looks like it was still the case as of Oct. of 2012. Don't know why they don't do it. I know the live shows are captioned by law but that can horrible at times.
