We never ever see this. I get the whole "it's a mans world" when it comes to wrestling but the numbers are pretty shocking considering how many promotions are out there and so few are ran by women.
So the purpose of this thread is to basically list every female promoter we know of. I'll start by admitting I only know two and they are the most obvious ones being Dixie Carter and Stephanie McMahon but my mind draws a blank on anyone else.

That depends on what you mean by"promoter". IS it in the sense of the old territorial days, or now including high ranking female executives in the business. If it's the latter, I would say Linda McMahon, since she was the CEO of Titan Sports/WWE, and was a big part of running it going back to when she and Vince bought it from hos father.
Old school, the only one I can think of would be Mildred Burke.

While not wrestling, but I thought for years that UFC President Dana White was a woman.

Isn't Alison Danger one of the Shimmer promoters? Or is it all Prazak?

Danger co-founded SHIMMER with Prazak, and consults on booking decisions/hiring talent etc. Prazak has the bigger role, but Danger has a key role.

Jasmin St. Clair was a co-founder and owner of 3PW. Not the greatest example.

I'd somehow forgot - Ann Gunkel in Georgia, who led an outlaw group when her husband Ray's partners tried to push her out after his death.

Female wrestling in Japan has had several female promoters, usually wrestlers forming their own promotions after leaving AJPW, such as GAEA being formed by Chigusa Nagayo and ARISION by Aja Kong. However AJPW was founded by a pair of brothers and it's just difficult to run joshi wrestling for a long period of time, so wrestlers like Nagayo and Kong tended to leave after a few years and go somewhere else.

Mrs. Baba ran All-Japan after Giant Baba died I believe That's a bad example, seeing how her era led to NOAH. Lesser known example: Lexie Fyfe runs SlammingLadies and I guess she and Daffney have some clout when it comes to SHINE wrestling as well.

SHINE I believe is a split between Lexie Fyfe, Daffney and Sal Hamouai, with a bit of input here and there from Gabe Sapolsky and some from Dave Prazak when it comes to continuity with SHIMMER.
