You know, I got to ask. Is there a rule out there that says that the second movie of a franchise always has to have that dark atmosphere of hopelessness? It comes from theater. The second act usually is darker, and ends in tragedy, setting up the triumph in the 3rd act.

Iron Man: You couldn't buy her, though, that's what's killing you, isn't it? Ultron? That's it, Ultron. She thinks you're shit. And deep down, you know she's right.

Since they've shown Hulkbuster already I'm expecting some major surprises in this film. Is there any chance that Ultron could be controlling that armour?

Hulk is controlled by Wanda, it's a spell Maybe she and Pietro are working for Ultron at first (explaining that scene of the two standing before him in the trailer), and he sends them to attack the Avengers. There we'd have Scarlet Witch controlling Hulk w/ a spell to attack Iron Man. (Also, just noticed, a very conspicuous lack of Vision in the trailer)

Scarlet Witches powers don't work like that as far as I am aware.
I am going with Ultron controlling the armor as Ultron does that a lot.

I keep hearing that Captain America is shown back in time, but it just looks like he's in an older building. He has the same costume throughout the trailer.

There's a scene in the trailer where Cap (in his military civilian uniform) is seen walking into a 1940s-esque ballroom with an unidentified man and woman.

I'll spoil tag this. nothing big but a good theory of where they might go? {Spoiler}These fellas at ScreenRant.com were theorizing that Hulk goes crazy and they end up blasting Hulky into space and he ends up in Planet Hulk and then maybe World War Hulk? thoughts?

Loki framed the Hulk in order to goad Thor out in order to fight him and the other Avengers sort of jumped in. Unless Ultron has done similar here anf that Iron Man/Hulk fight is a big misunderstanding like the Thor v Cap and Iron Man scrap in the first film.

Ultron is looking to be an absolute terrifying and vicious villain. I am loving the overall atmosphere of this film and how from the trailer it looks darker, more personal, and intense compared to the first film. Is there a way to cryogenically freeze ourselves until May 1st?

Thinking about it...Hulk having to be put down doesn't have to be exactly what we saw. If Ultron can hijack Stark's resources (he apparently can as we see in the teaser) it doesn't even have to be Stark in the armor. What we actually might be seeing is Ultron using a Stark Suit and Hulkbuster Armor with The Hulk having to stop him, which will definitely fuel some trust issues between the Super Science Bros. and even tarnish Stark's image to the public. Although that does seem the more interesting thing to do narrative wise, I think way too much into some of these things. Sometimes the simplest explanations are the best, especially when it comes to Marvel movies. So it's probably just Stark himself having to throw down against a rampaging Hulk, which is the least interesting thing that could happen from it. And I'll be highly pissed off if Falcon and Rhodey can only get cameos and shit in this movie. Highly pissed off. At the rate Marvel is going, Andy Serkis will probably end up being Black Panther. I'll spoil tag this. nothing big but a good theory of where they might go? {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}These fellas at ScreenRant.com were theorizing that Hulk goes crazy and they end up blasting Hulky into space and he ends up in Planet Hulk and then maybe World War Hulk? thoughts? Ehhh.... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}If they shoot the Hulk in space he could always run into Peter Quill and make his way back to Earth in time for Avengers 3 where the Planet Hulk storyline is implied to happen.
