So I will admit this is about as trivial as a problem there is. It isn't a major one, but just something kind of peeving. So I recently saw The Great Gatsby with my girlfriend. She liked it, I did not. Not a huge deal, it's happened before, but a thought occurred to me as we were discussing it, I cannot think of one movie she's ever disliked. In the 2+ years we've been together and seeing movies, she has liked every single movie we've seen together. It's strange to me. It isn't like she has bad taste or I have a problem with her liking a movie I dislike, but you'd think eventually she'd come across a movie she doesn't care for. Does anyone else know someone like this? I mean, we've seen dozens and dozens of movies and I literally cannot think of one where we left the theater and she said anything other than "I liked it."
I am not super annoyed by this, mostly just confused. It's kind of like a Seinfeld relationship problem. One of you great people has to know someone else like her.

Maybe she's smart about the kind of movies she watches.
I like nearly all the films I watch because I don't watch shitty films, especially at the theater.

I'd almost envy that person. It's like watching wrestling when you're young and think everything is real. Cynicism hasn't set in.

Honestly, I'm almost the same way. I can be entertained by damn near anything lol. Bout the only movie I couldn't find anything I liked about over the last so many years was the twilight movies (except for riff tracking them)

Most people who go to the theater are like this, because going to the theater is in itself a fun night out.
I'm not. Everything sucks. :-p

People in my life somehow think that I see the positive in a lot of things that I see or hear. I remember having a discussion with my aunt and she thinks that I like every movie that I see. She is wrong, because I can think of movies that I have seen and disliked. I remember my dad asking me if I ever NOT like a movie and I told him yes. I will admit that there are some movies that are considered bad that I still liked. Maybe I just have an open mind. Then there are some that are bad and just downright disliked.
Most of the movies I watch I have interest in. However, there have been some that I have seen that I was interested in and didn't care for in the end. However, there have been movies that I wasn't initially interested in watching but ended up liking them.

I'm like that too, mainly because I don't shell out money for a movie unless I'm pretty darn sure I'm gonna like it. So even if I come out of a movie feeling like it's not QUITE as good as I'd hoped, I usually still like something about it.

However, I remember paying to see "Movie 43." I didn't hate it, but I would be lying if I said that I loved it. I found many things to be really absurd even though I saw that was the point of the film. However, the film DID have its moments.

I think, at least with movies, it's whether you can see the good parts in bad films, and whether you let the "Bad" parts decide that an entire film is "Bad".

Often times when I go to the theater I tend to make good bets on whether or not I'll enjoy it, but if someone else picks the movie it's up in the air.
I went with a friend to see Marci X one time, and while I certainly enjoyed their company, there wasn't one single damn redeeming aspect about that movie. Not one. THE worst thing Damon Wayans was ever involved in.

I'm kind of the same way. Barring some seriously awful movies that I've seen, I tend to enjoy most movies I watch. I think it's because I don't get into movies as much as some others do, so I'm able to enjoy more movies that might not be considered "great" because I really don't care either way. If I was a major movie nut I might be more picky, but I think that's the reason why I can enjoy practically any movie I see. Because, in all honesty, some of my favorite movies were ones that critics, and regular people alike, tore apart.

Lol, as long as I got my crunch bits and a honey bun I'm straight. I can pretty much find any movie entertaining. Man I remember this one movie with Chuck Norris some inept kid who kept dreaming. Everyone in my class hated it, but that shit was clean. Wish I could remember it.

I like most movies. I look at them from different aspects when i watch them. Occasionally one is so vile I give up, but off the top of my head the only ones in that category are:
Gigli Merlon Roogue (I refuse to spell it correctly, it's THAT bad) That movie with Sandra Bullocks with the magic mailbox and Neo

Same here, but I rarely go to the theater to watch movies. There are so many great films I haven't seen yet, and the vast majority of big budget movies today aren't my taste in the slightest.

One of my favourite Nostalgia Critic reviews too, just for him embracing and, at the same time, ridiculizing the ChuckNorrisFacts phenom. ACHUCKANORRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS~!
