That is 45 shows. That is insane. Too much. UFC should have between 26-28 cards. 12 PPVs, 12 Fox/FS1 shows and a few Fight Pass Shows. They are totally over saturating the market.

I love it, myself. I only wish they did five or six FOX cards instead of just four.

Seems like next year we are going to look more to even more watered down cards.
Also Matt Brown vs Tarec Saffiedine will be the main event at a UFC fight night event taking place Feb 14 Tyron Woodley vs Kelvin Gastelum will be the co main event at UFC 183

Ryan Bader vs. Phil Davis has been added to the UFC on FOX card in Sweden. Lets hope that both of them try to finish the fight because if not I think we are in a fight that will bore us till 2016

Well after his defeat at the last fight night card Yves Edwards has called it a career. Never forget....

Well, that's it then. So much for the UFC.
Hope it at least leads to better pay for the lower fighters.

Reportedly the UFC itself is getting none of the money from this. It's going to straight to the fighters.
In other news, Josh Koscheck will face Jake Ellenberger at UFC 184.

The uniform thing is a catch 22 because while it would be nice if the lower fighters actually get paid something other than peanuts but the reason why fighters were getting paid f*** off from sponsorships was solely due to the UFC getting greedy and demanding a bigger cut every year.

War Thug NamaJumas
Though if she wins does it means that she has already had a better MMA career than Pat Barry.
Also did anyone actually watch TUF 20?

Nate Diaz has missed weight (by four pounds) and will be fined the usual 20% of his fighters purse.
Not a smart movie when you consider that he hasn't been in Dana whites good books for a while and his whole rant he did the other day about CM Punk about being professional. That and complaining all year about how little money you get paid only to give 20% of your purse to other fighter because you can in overweight by almost 5 pounds.
Is this how logic works in the 209.

I LOVE Mixed Martial Arts(and not just the UFC) but that's WAY too many f***ing cards. It's one big reason I think that UFC has really plateaued and slid back in terms of popularity; it's just so watered down right now you might get a really good card every three months or so.

I watch pretty much everything I can get my hands on combat sports wise, but most people aren't me. For the casual fan, they don't give two shits about a 1-0 fighter from TUF China fighting on a fight pass prelim. The sheer amount of fights/fighters combined with the UFC's inability to create new stars(you can argue McGregor, but a lot of that is his own doing dating back to the Cage Warriors days) and the way that we consume media being so different than it was during the UFC'S peak and it's a recipe for regression.
