Dana White is not going to handle that well.

On one hand, pro UFC and want it to succeed.
On the other hand, Dana is a complete dickweed that treats fans and fighters like crap. Go lawsuit go!

Fitch just got the Palhares kneebar of doom in a minute in a half. Had to be carried out.

Interesting tidbit from Meltzer's daily report today: It's the press conference to announce the MMA lawsuit that got leaked over the weekend. Should be fun.

It'll be interesting to see who all is involved with the lawsuit. If Tito is involved, they need to tell him to go stand in the corner or something and not let him speak.

Dana White has announced that Rafael dos Anjos as the no1 contender for the LW belt. Makes sense with him winning 8 of 9 and the only loss in there is to Khabib, who is out injured.

If I'm WWE, I'm watching this lawsuit VERY closely as I'd consider them closer to a monopoly then the UFC.

Some of the stuff I'm reading leads me to believe that the UFC is in for a world of shit with this lawsuit

As of right now, the suit includes Jon Fitch, Nate Quarry, and Cung Le. The people organizing the suit are expecting a total of 7-800 to join the suit eventually.
They're not exactly blowing the doors off with the initial announcement. This part is interesting, though:
And THIS is interesting for a completely different reason

Here is the full statement www.cohenmilstein.com/news.php?NewsID=742I think the key difference between WWE and this is that the suit is alleging that UFC has taken deliberate steps to reduce fighter pay and reduce their own competition. I think if there was proof WWE had taken real steps to weaken their competition, ROH and TNA, then this sort of lawsuit would have come about a long time ago when they bought WCW. I'm sure WWE will make sure they have things in order, but I don't think they are going to be worried about something like this happening.

Ya, I'm definitely hearing stuff that goes above and beyond anything I'm aware of WWE doing. The whole "likeness rights in perpetuity" thing alone sounds sketchy as all hell.

That's been something that has been talked about a long while too. Dixie Carter actually accused Vince and WWE of stifling the growth of TNA, but offered no examples or proof.

Ah the infamous tombstone photo has come back to haunt Dana, that's pretty funny. I'll be interested in seeing if any other fighters join in, Sean Sherk has said he wants in.
Also if Dana hated Fitch before imagine how he feels about him now!

Honestly even if this lawsuit doesn't hit the UFC too hard it would be nice to see Dana White's ego get a good bruising.
