Considering that UFC needs as much star power as they can get their hands on and the way they talk about Jones' situation, his "punishment" would be having one or two fights before they can claim that he's a "changed man that learned from his mistakes" and get a title shot I actually think he is the number one contender for the title. Whoever wins this next fight will fight Jones if we are to believe he will get off with a plea deal. It's funny Dana tried his damn hardest to protect Jones when ever he messed up but with this Nick Diaz situation he needs to know all the facts before he speaks in regards to the five year suspension. Money does that to people. Besides Conor and Ronda, the UFC doesn't have another big draw so capitalizing on Jones' return and building it as a "redemption" story would end up catching some eyes and money along the way.

You would hope this changes him because the cocaine was one thing but this was reckless and could of taken a life not even counting the fact you supposed to have ran away from the scene. They def going to need Bones back if Ronda is true to her word about retiring basically at 31.

If you're the greatest of all time, don't return to be king of the B team.

Yea, this is what happens when a company gives you a little more leverage so Fedor should of stayed retired but now he has a little demand and is def going to use it to his favor.

This is ridiculous. UFC does things at their own content and it comes back to bite them in the ass numerous including Jones himself being allowed to fight after cocaine found in his system(yes I know it's not a banned out of sport drug). Cyborg made a few good points about saying they are hypocrites because they've wagged their finger at her because her past offense. That is just in regards to her getting fight nvm the fight between her and Rousey.

Lol at Duane Ludwig, Urijah buried him as a racist maniac, who apparently sold peanut butter at the alpha male gym.

Jones has plead guilty and been sentenced to 18 months supervised probation for his hit and run incident. He won't have a felony conviction as long as meets all the conditions of his probation.

Not surprising. Only thing to wait for is for Dana to announce him as the next challenger for the title and talk up how he's the "real champion."

Jon Jones' quest for redemption is on its way and you better believe that the UFC will exploit this to their advantage any way they can.

Dana will punish Jones... by putting him against the winner of Bader and Rashad in a number one contender's fight.

Somewhere Nick Diaz is throwing pounds of weed at the TV screaming injustice because Jon Jones is going to get reinstated no problem.

Bisping is out and Uriah Hall is in against Robert Whittaker at 193.
Meanwhile, BJ Penn is talking coming out of retirement yet again, this time to fight Nik Lentz at 145 mainly because of Lentz's association with Mike Dolce.

Yikes. Just talked with Woodley yesterday for my radio station. Seemed pretty excited for the fight and now it's ripped from under him. Feel bad for the guy.
