Inspired by the thread about "The Purge".
Number one for me by a gigantic margin is zombie movies, or hell, zombie everything. There's such a thing as oversaturation and I think the last five or so years have completely ruined the shambling dead for me.
Number two is dystopian-type films that make some often ham-fisted attempt at societal commentary, such as Hunger Games, a few others that just sort of came and went, and seemingly The Purge.

Somebody makes a bet and BAM, they are together! The ugly one gets a makeover and is now TOTALLY AWESOME AND HAWT OMG
Somebody is an asshole and they break up, OH NO!
Don't worry, by the end of the movie they REALLY LOVE EACHOTHER! It's like totally awesome!

Con Artist somehow ends up having to be the savior of some people.
Although, to it's credit, at least Oz somehow made it less annoying than usual.

I want more movies where the bad guy wins. And more movies where the person fails at getting the person they want and the movie ends with them alone or having to settle for someone else.

Movies which has the Villain being captur-BUT WAIT IT WAS HIS PLAN ALL ALONG! So much this. It's the good guys' darkest hour but the charismatic villain has been captured but OH NO! That's just what he wanted you to think and everything is exploding and grey and someone will have to make a sacrifice and the trailer goes "BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!"

"The Misunderstanding" plot contrivance in damn near every rom-com ever made. It's so, SO old. It's just about the least original trope in Hollywood.

Superhero naval gazing
"Hmmm......I wanna be Spiderman.....but I also want Mary Jane......it's all so confusing and angsty.....what should I do?"
"Dad.....I wanna be Superman......but I also want a normal life working the farm.....lifting hay, milking the cows.....woe is me"
"Alfred.....I can't be Batman AND also be in love with Rachel Dawes.....it's all so stressful.....please fetch my Rolls Royce.....I'm late for the opera"

The "Prince and the Pauper" and "city mouse/country mouse" formulas where two characters who look exactly alike switch places and one of them is wealthy and/or lives in the city and the other is poor and/or lives in the country.
There have probably been enough "Freaky Friday" type films about the young and old switching bodies for a day.
Same thing with "Forrest Gump" or "Radio" type films, where someone with a low IQ makes all those around him eventually start to say things like "maybe he's really smarter than the rest of us". Unless somebody was to come up with a really fresh spin on that it's probably been done enough.

Superhero origin stories for characters that already have a movie.
Empowered woman movies where the main driving force of the woman is that she's a woman in a man's world. Judge her ability to shoot straight, not her uterus DAMNIT!
Nicholas Sparks Movies, it's always the same plot. Star crossed characters find love despite something getting in the way and then someone dies of cancer.

Hitman with the heart of gold. See, he won't kill women or children for money, only other bad guys!

The big twist at the end where it turns out the evil guy was one of the main characters alternate personalities.

1)Protagonist has been training all his/her life to rid the world of ______. Then he/she meets the love of his/her life, but - SURPRISE! - said love interest turns out to be a ______. And now the protagonist must question everything he/she has ever believed.
2) Master criminal decides to give up crime to live a normal life, but his brother/cousin/best friend convinces or coerces him into doing one last job, which ends up going horribly wrong, usually due to said brother/cousin/best friend screwing it all up somehow.
3) Fish-out-of-water teacher arrives at a low-performing inner city school and turns the students into Rhodes scholars simply by getting them motivated and caring about them. (This one affects me constantly on a personal level, because, as a teacher in an urban school, I'm constantly confronted with people who expect things to work just like they do in the movies.)
4) Two opposing cliques of kids are forced to work together and end up putting their differences aside and achieving their goal, especially because, more often than not, instead of having Group A and Group B both change and grow together, whichever group the screenwriter empathizes with the most - we'll say Group A - doesn't grow or change at all, while Group B completely changes to be just like Group A.

Hero wants to quit being a hero, which somehow makes things tremendously worse even without his direct involvement. People guilt trip him into being humanity's bitch again, or he realizes it was stupid anyway, and he becomes a hero again.
Spider-Man 2 is about as close as you can get to putting that on the big screen with any merit, and even that movie is grating to watch for me.
Shut up, put your cape on, and go fight crime. Nothing you can say or do will make the audience feel sorry for you for having powers.

That being a vampire sucks, no pun intended.
Let's see, eternal life, super strength and senses...
Yep, who would want that?
