Man, I remember when Splinter Cell was the most next gen thing ever. The fabric textures and all the graphical touches. You had to get an Xbox for that!
Now, it all runs together.(Though, i'll admit, the hair on the arm thing is kind of cool).

And people wonder why I don't take this franchise seriously.

CoD: Ghosts is out and man, what a weird game. And weirder reviews.
Reviews are split down the middle between "the maps are small" and "the maps are too big". Along with a lot of other back and forth, new modes are great, new modes suck. Blah blah.
It plays like CoD, it has one of the best stories in the series with some of the least memorable characters, and an ok bunch of levels so far.
The horde mode is ok, but maybe a bit too hard.
It is an ok game

There are some exceptions like GTA5 and Pokemon X/Y, but for the most part it seems like the new entries this year have not been their respective series' brightest hours........

The addition of leaning and a running slide are very nice. But they changed the run sway a little so it feels a bit different when you play it. Not in a bad way, just in a "I need to adjust" way. Also to note I am playing it on PS3 with a Dualshock4 and it works pretty beautifully.

Yep. The home button and track pad don't work, and it has to be hooked up with a micro USB, but it works like a charm. I have been using it almost exclusively since Thursday. Feels amazing. All Gamestops should be selling them. Some games don't work (Walking Dead, SOCOM), but most are perfect. And people have gotten it to work with MAC, PC and 360.

Sun shines, birds fly and Activision pump out another copy and pasted Call of Duty game with a few new pointless features added in. Probably get it when it's about £15-20 used and play the story once or twice.

There is obvious effort put in to freshen things up, but they paid no attention to what Treyarch has been doing and thus left out the good stuff they added. And removed Hardpoint and Headquaters for some stupid assed reason.

Is Activision going to finally take Infinity Ward's Corpse with Sunglasses On It behind the shed? Seriously, saddling a B (possibly C) team of developers with those kinds of expectations is a recipe for failure.

I can say one thing. Gunfire sounds a hell of a lot better. It has always been weak sounding before, now we got some oomph!
