To clarify something from the previous shows for everybody, as I'm not sure if others are aware of it, reading online I found out the second Archie appeared before the present Archie was defeated. He was what distracted Archie and cost him the match, and they both disappeared after the lights went out. As opposed to the tweet from the prior thread that implied second Archie appeared after the loss & lights trick that got rid of the first.
So, that begs the question...was that Archie? Or, was that someone else?
And, after learning about Lance Steel & Swamp Monster's appearance during the same match, holding a banana & discussing it... Methinks it was a Lance Steel from the future, who in the future is the holder of WiF's banana. Maybe he brought back Archie's son and that's who distracted Archie?

This is way too weird and complicated and I'm not enjoying it Really? I'm loving it! It's completely and utterly mental, and I am enjoying every second of trying to piece together even the tiniest pieces of it. If it's all connected, or if it's only bits and, if so, which bits are and which bits are their own thing.

Wait if Swamp Monster has the ability to travel through time wouldn't that make him part Man Thing, and would Lance Steel bring back Jolly Roger. I haven't thought this hard in such a long time

This is way too weird and complicated and I'm not enjoying it I'm honestly loving every bit of it again. Not everything that's a bit more layered than derp wrasslin 101 is Russoriffic.

Atleast Russo's storylines were somewhat understandable and didn't require a graph to piece together. This whole thing is alittle much.

Agreed. This is Russo levels of convoluted. No, Russo-level of convoluted angles is where frequent swerves of the obvious and violations of common sense and storytelling occur. Like the stupidity behind the White Hummer angle. This is more Metal Gear Solid 2 levels of convoluted.

Yeah, enjoy it or not, but the Russo comparison is confusing. It's not convoluted to suddenly contradict what's been set up; it's just bad writing.
My worry is, they're getting our hopes up and nothing will happen. They SEEM to really be hyping the iPPV as a big change (in fact, is that blog a plant? even if it's not, that three questions thing and the banning is awesome marketing), but I worry, just, nothing will happen.

Yeah, I don't see it as Russo like, it's too complex to be anything Russo would bother with. If we get nonsensical conclusions that are clearly twists engineered to get a reaction and don't make any sense, even with an explanation, then I'd say it's Russo like.
And, carp, you brought up a very good point. I am a little worried about that. CHIKARA the past two seasons has done that more than a few times with certain story elements. Like GEKIDO, which felt like it dragged forever with them consistently jobbing and no story progression really occurring in that time frame.

Does anyone actually believe Icarus was a fan of Marty Jannetty and it's actually Quack who does, hence him being inserted into this?

I'm still certain Quackenbush writes the bulk of the blogs himself, save for a couple like Sugar & Jagged. But, yes. Mike Quackenbush's fandom of late 80s to mid 90s WWF is pretty transparent.

Yeah, from what I can tell, this is more Quack living through Icarus. But it's still a nice storyline.

Still.....technico Icarus. Wow. I mean, he's been a non-stop Rudo for what, 8 years? It's gonna be one heck of a mind-trip.
