I wouldn't say it was Ziggler's fault so much as it was whoever thought it was a good idea to put a 60 year-old man in a match with someone who wrestles such a demanding style.

It's not like Jerry's in great health either, at least not the kind that helps the heart. He was eating fast food burgers as soon as he got out of the hospital.

I like Lawler in the ring, but at this juncture, he really can't keep up with someone like Ziggler. Keep him facing Heath Slater, he seems to be the safest worker ever, at least in WWE's mind.

What I'm getting out of that story is that even in real life Lawler repeats the same comebacks every time.
I should probably consider my priorities a bit more.
But I won't.

The way I see it, Ziggs' elbows knocked something loose that would have clogged JL's heart an hour or two later after the show.

Wasn't that picture shown to be much older than reported. Also it was stated The heart attack was stressed related and not based on his diet.

I now have the visual of Ziggler using his elbow spam to administer CPR.

Knowing some of Lawler's past antics, I'm surprised he didn't push for an Ox Baker style angle where they play up Ziggler's elbows being so lethal, they can actually murder people.
Move over heart punch, hello heart elbow.

Maybe it wasn't a good idea to be a 60-year-old pro wrestler with a family history of bad heart problems and wrestle a match.

Logistically speaking, killing King should entitle him to King's crown and spot at the announce table. It's how those kind of things work.
