Yup. It even woke the crowd up from their nap. I'm up to the 6 man tag match. This ppv blows outside of the ladder match. Glad it was only 15 bucks.

You'll find another moment they were alive for during the gauntlet battle royale and you can thank Shark Boy for that (and Gunner & Crimson for their reactions to some extent).

With a hot crowd, that would have felt like a great ppv - the crowd at the first HC Justice elevated that show by their sheer enthusiasm. The crowd at this showing made the whole thing seem like a quality house show (plenty of variety, nice bit of TNA's own history and a few surprises thrown in) with the added bonus of Tenay/JB on commentary.

Tenay and JB were awful too. I understand they weren't actually there but they clearly had zero enthusiasm about the whole affair. That great spot in the ladder match should've been sold like crazy, their voices barely raised an octave .

I felt this was a rather mediocre show..............HOWEVER, that crowd made it one of the worst shows of the year because they didn't react to anything. This is the type of crowd that as a wrestling fan, I am ashamed of. Agreed. Makes me rather glad they did move out of the Impact Zone. That show reminded me just how awful they could be .. .. they didn't exactly have an amazing show in front of them though -- so I can't blame them fully. The highlight of the opening match for me was Hernandez comically wearing that helmet repeatedly. The battle royal was entertaining for the pure stupidity and the ladder match stole the show -- not a very hard task however. Everything else was mediocre at best. Even the main event fell very flat and that ending absolutely sucked.

I agree with this 100% First time I've ordered a TNA ppv since about 2006, I know these aren't their main ppvs but I don't think I'll be ordering one again.

I have heard nothing but bad from this show in general which is a shame because they could of done a lot more with it.
For example, Jeff Hardy is a very random add in the main event why not bring an ECW guy in (Dreamer maybe?) and give it an ECW feeling. Team 3.D goes over in a nice ECW style main event.
Probably would of gone with Hardy/Scorpio and Abyss/Messias and given the latter a nice thumbtack bat or some similar type of gimmick. A ladder match and a few nothing hardcore matches aren't that great.

I would have put Hardcore Holly with Spike in the main event, what with the history between The Holly Cousins and Spike. Hardy would have done just fine in the six man tag.

He's a total joke, much like Booker T, who can at least raise a smirk from me time to time. Tenay and JB were just BORING.

Even the main event fell very flat and that ending absolutely sucked. Such a damp squib. It was obviously supposed to be a "Swanton through the table" finish but the table was set up too far from the corner for Hardy to make it, so he had to go with the splash which only just broke the sodding thing. Then the PPV was over immediately. Very naff. Also, what made the Joe Park/Mesias match a "Monsters Ball" exactly? The baking tray?

Didn't they film most of these over the course of a few days? No wonder the crowd seemed burnt out. It was an okay show, better than Joker's Wild, even with the garbage wrestling, a few standout spots like the Bad Influence/Bucks match, but it seemed like a televised house show. Joseph Park continues to impress, showing it is still possible to pop a crowd with basic moves and 'Hulk up' without it looking stupid.
I think Borash and Tenay would have done better were Borash not doing double duty as Ring announcer, it really broke up their rhythm, especially during the elimination matches.

LAX vs New Church - utter shit. ODB vs Jackie - Somewhat entertaining but hardly a classic. Bad Influence vs Gen Me - very good match, thought Kazarian had broken his leg with that outside suplex spot. Hardcore battle royal - Goofy fun. Storm/Magnus/Bobcore vs A&8 - Boring. Park vs Mesias - Goofy fun again and LOTS of nutshots. Park really knows how to badly wrestle entertainingly. Hardy/Runt vs Team 3D - Yawn.

yeah that "street fight" to start the PPV ..... wasn't! and he DID? ? was it when he only clipped the ladder, being suplexed from inside the ring? the HBR was a lot of fun, especially having a right good mix of the old stars and the new and joseph park continues to entertain .....although might be careful of being STALE in the future! and who doesn't like some good old fashioned fan interaction ..... like what BULLY RAY did as for the knockouts ..... tarrell and gail continue to belt out some awesome matches ..... but as for the first one ..... shame they couldn't get RHAKA KHAN to make it a three way! would have marked out in so many ways for her but the WORST THING about it was the producers using the HIGHLIGHTS of the damn PPV for the titles!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for blowing virtually all the surprises idiots
