The Dino/HG combo really makes me smile, because I was a big mark for both guys.

Alright guys, midnight Wyoming time is the cutoff so that we can get this bastard going. If two more people don't sign up then I'll add a filler team and take a team of my own. Seriously, Shiro, Benoit/New Jack is f***ing hilarious. I actually shot some No-No Juice out of my nose because of that.

Day One Report Welcome everyone to Day One of the 2013 World Tag Grand Prix. I'm your host Hawk Jefferson coming to you live from the USA Dome where, for the first time ever, the WWE has agreed to host this tournament. Justin King is the assigned ref for the first round of action and he is not in an enviable position as today 16 teams made up of the most elite wrestlers the world has to offer, plus three time traveling CM Punks and Jack Swagger, vie for the World Tag Grand Prix Trophy. We'll get to the action shortly but first, a word from our sponsors.
Expert Services Concierge is proud to bring you the 2013 World Tag Grand Prix in conjuction with Dildopolis. Expert Services Concierge, we don't know what we do, but it's really important.
And we are back, it's good to see that even after the huge success that was the last World Tag Grand Prix we can't get real sponsors. Let's get to the action!
The Gayest Team that Ever Lived vs The Beasts In an evenly matched bout to start the afternoon Lesnar and Goldberg looked to be in some serious trouble but no amount of sexual assault would keep them out of the second round. Despite Dino and Teioh having their way with Goldberg the majority of the match (with Goldberg enduring FOUR Danshoku Nightmares) Brock Lesnar secured the victory for his team with a surprise F5 for the pinfall on Men's Teioh in 19:31
The Crippling Angels vs The All American American Heroes A wrestling clinic was put on this afternoon in the second match of the card as Kurt Angle and Kenny Omega stole the show. Trading holds, suplexes, and even a few high flying manuvers these two men did battle as their partners...just kinda stood there and watched actually. Angle was able to seal the pinfal victory for his team with a bridging German suplex on Chris Benoit in 17:31.
Art Fit for a King vs Dashingly Devious Match number three of the afternoon was also the first pier six brawl of the card. With all four men battling it out inside the ring and on the floor, this could've gone either way but mystical time traveler CM Punk was not to be denied this afternoon securing the win after King Booker tapped to a rolling arm lock in 23:36.
European Royalty vs Yes Oui Can Match of the Year Candiate. That's all that needs to be said about this match, both teams used excellent teamwork and showed of incredible wrestling ability but one team had to lose. After a well timed reversal of a Ricola Bomb, El Generico drove Double C to the mat with a Michinoku Driver to advance his team to the second round in 19:48.
Black and White vs The Brothers of Destruction In the first big surprise of the first round came at the feet of AJ Styles. Despite the best attempts of Undertaker and Kane to bury their opponents alive it was a well timed Pele Kick from the Phenominal One to the Big Red Monster that scored the KO victory in 15:57.
The Best Team That Ever Lived vs The Smooth Criminals The battle of the Best in the World vs the Best of Planet Funk was evenly matched from the start with neither team wanting to lose. The Funkasaurus and Sweet T looked to have it locked up after Brodus crushed the Tatted Tardis Traveler with a couple of huge splashes but in the end it was the Greatest Man Who Ever Lived who forced a Funky extinction with a brainbuster for the pinfall in 26:31.
The Mega Powers vs Team 1997 Easily the match with the most star power was also the most intense match of the first round. Clocking in a 29:27, it's the longest match thus far and with both teams scoring numerous near-falls it could've gone either way but in the end Sting put the Macho Man down for the three count with a Scorpion Death Drop. An interesting side-note, Steve Austin spent as much time as possible trying to attack Hogan with a chair while hitting him with numerous Stunners both inside and out of the ring.
The Voice of the Bald vs BEER! MONEY! The final match was also the most one sided unfortunately as the Voice of the Bald made their presence felt with a quick defeat of BEER! MONEY! Triple H scored the victory for his team in 15:47 with a Pedigree.
And there it is ladies and gentlemen, the first afternoon of matches is in the record books. We'll be back this evening for Night One of the World Tag Grand Prix. Until then, enjoy a word from our sponsors.

Day One Report The Voice of the Bald vs BEER! MONEY! The final match was also the most one sided unfortunately as the Voice of the Bald made their presence felt with a quick defeat of BEER! MONEY! Triple H scored the victory for his team in 15:47 with a Pedigree.
Well, that makes my day. One of the best teams in the last ten years is easily laid to waste by my team. Surely, a sign of things still to come.
