If we can be serious for a moment. So I was wondering what is actually going to be the payoff for this program? I really can't think of anything big that can come out of this angle. I mean I don't trips will retire like this, nor do I expect Vince to start heeling it up and become the heel authority figure again. The best I can come up with is that Vince will get a new son (Sorry Hornswoggle) to try to take out Hunter. This way they at least introduce someone new out of what is turning out to be turrible program.

Summerslam's epic main event; Triple H vs. Vince in a "Stephanie On A Pole Match."

Steph and Vince inexplicably hire someone to take out HHH because they are so concerned about his health that only permanently injuring will keep him safe from... serious injury.
Admit it, its hardly out of the question for this writing team.

^^^ Sounds about right and to add to it, Axel has been working with McMahons the whole time to get HHH to stop wrestling.

That'd be a way of making sure Hunner wouldn't get hurt.

I'm just waiting for the kids to show up. Or at the very least, great uncle Rod.

They hire Vince Russo to be Triple H's assistant.

Shield is revealed to have been in Vince's pocket all along, for some reason.

Something that is most likely both mindbogglingly stupid and awful.

Triple H vs Vince McMahon while we all stare into our computers listening to the Sounds of Silence.

I was honestly hoping tonight's awkward group hug was the end of the whole damn thing.
And I say that as a fan of both The Game and Stephanie.

It's Triple H's retirement angle. It's going to involve people telling him how f***ing great he is, and him eventually deciding that yeah, he really is too great to be wasting his time wrestling nobodies anymore.

Maybe we're looking at this the wrong way. WWE is all hip to the pop-culture, right?
The pay-off will have Stephanie invite both Vince and Hunner to a meeting since they won't make nice. The door will lock behind them. "The Rains of Castamere" will begin playing...

Admit it, its hardly out of the question for this writing team. I thought the hug and Stephanie being happy was the endgame. It introduced Curtis Axel as well. YOU'VE GOT 2 KNEES, HUNNER! BUT YOU ONLY HAVE ONE BRAIN!!! GARFKGHLA;SERA!

HHH is kidnapped by the famous army of hobos to keep him from in ring action?
Seriously though this angle is lame. I don't feel any sort of sympathy for any of these people. It's long past the time to have this family drama playing out. They are the most unsympathetic group of people I have ever seen, and HHH as their hero is really quite played out.

They have to bring in someone from Hunter's past. Someone he never could defeat... {Spoiler} Spoiler

Remember TNA's reverse battle royal and reverse ladder match? Since the McMahons don't want HHH to wrestle, I'm pretty sure the WWE is building up to the first-ever reverse normal match. In order to win, you need to acquire the hammer and ring the bell to actually start the match, thereby immediately ending the match.
After a long and grueling battle against Curtis Axel, HHH wins (via wailing on the bell with his sledgehammer, naturally), thus going down in history as having the quickest victory in all of professional wrestling at zero seconds.

They have to bring in someone from Hunter's past. Someone he never could defeat... {Spoiler}{Spoiler} And HHH's obsession with Warrior should end up driving Stephanie away, leading her to hook up with WILDMAN MARC MERO.
