The Shield has been very well handled, and their break up will probably be done well. But how should the WWE break them up, in your view?

Either have a stipulation that forces a break-up or have them go their separate ways to pursue singles careers.

at the tlc ppv; wyatt family vs shield tlc match losing team disbands. idk how the face/heel dynamics will work, but by that time I can see Ambrose ready for main event, and I don't think that the WWE is big enough for both groups for a long time.

1) Either a loser disbands match 2) They just go their separate ways like Truth/Kofi 3) Three-way feud, lol.
Anything but the obvious, "Rollins is the weakest link, beat him down!"

Triple H chases them backstage and locks them in a crate labelled "NXT"

An internal disagreement about their brand of justice, probably Rollins and Reigns getting sick of Ambrose (too many paid jobs, Ambrose using them to advance his own goals etc) and going off on their own to target heels.

They don't break up. Instead they just quietly drop the "justice" stuff, trade the riot gear in for traditional wrestling trunks/tights, and become an alliance of regular wrestlers.

I think Rollins is logically and rightfully the first one to go. Of the three he's the most face-ready since he's the youngest, and could conceivably slide into the scrappy ECW-era CM Punk role.
I think Ambrose kicks him out when Rollins starts to show a little humanity/personal confidence, and Reigns sides with Ambrose because he feels that he can go farther. Eventually Reigns too will see Ambrose for the monster he is and turns on Dean as well. Basically, The Shield will be the Nexus done right.
They've already positioned Ambrose as the de facto leader and the sure shot main event guy of the three, though with special care the other two are neck and neck just behind him. As the OP said, the Shield have been handled wonderfully, and I am excited to see what they do with them after the Shield angle has run its course.

Ambrose eventually gets more and more extreme, the other two become more reluctant to follow him until eventually they split from Ambrose and join the Cenation whilst Cena puts Ambrose down. All three float around the card somewhere until they are eventually released. Cena stays exactly the same.

I think it would be cool if they just decide to part ways but still have each others backs. It would be a good setup for say the rumble when you could have them team up for a while, clear the ring and then have one of them get all cocky (Ambrose) and the other two just start kicking his ass. Then that is the end of them....for now.

One of them suggests that we should take off our clothes and wrestle in traditional wrestling gear.

Ambrose gets too cocky and Reigns/Rollins turn on him. Rollins and Reigns become midcard faces and Ambrose gets a steady main event heel push.

a fight over where they are going to get a sandwich subway, quiznos or jimmy johns. The argument tears them apart.

now's not the time to worry about it. they have a LOT of life left in them. they shouldn't break up the Shield just because it "should" happen at some point.

What if they did the unthinkable and didn't break them up?

When Seth Rollins is caught having dinner with Triple H(in the most manly way as possible) Roman and Dean show him what real justice is.

In that case, we could have a heel/heel match. Both teams want to be the heel stable on WWE, and there's only room for one. Loser disbands. Neither one of them has to turn good just to make the match work. I haven't seen the Wyatts yet, but the Shield are impressive enough to be able to be in a heel/heel match and still get people interested.

Well, whichever way they end I can see Ambrose losing his shit and going back to his regular crazy self because The Shield was the closest thing to family for him. If you've watched his Indy and even FCW promos he mentions being from a broken family.

Knowing them, Rollins turns, gets some generic music and fades to obscurity.
