I'm sure WWE are going to have some meetings concerning this, if they haven't already. Lord knows how much PPV money this guy could cost them Practically nil? The sort of people who are going to muck around looking for spoilers that are posted ~15 minutes before the show airs are the same sort of people who know how to find illegal streams anyway.

Streams aren't illegal in Sweden.

Yeah the buyrates won't be an issue but it can cause all sorts of other problems. As the news about this guy spreads with each month more people attending the shows will actually check the results which can lead to them spoiling everyone by chanting about it or putting up a sign. It's a big headache for WWE that they don't need and will have to nip it in the bud soon by finding out who the traitor is.

Those of you saying the person should be fired etc. are insane. If the spoilers irk you that much don't fu***** read them. If I paid for ppvs I would avoid the internet and willingly suspend my disbelief. As I dont order ppv, it's fascinating to see the guy is in the know.
Case in point, enjoy him/her while it lasts. Otherwise shut up and don't read credible spoilers if you don't want things spoiled. Logic, eh?

You're missing the point; it's not about "I don't like spoilers," it's about systematic corporate sabotage. A lot of drama in pro wrestling banks on people not knowing the outcomes. If this guy does know the outcomes and is spoiling it to people, it'll get spoiled to more people, and there will be a snowball effect. Personally, I'll be gleeful if it's true. So long as it doesn't involve bodily harm coming to anyone, I'm down with just about anything that damages the company.

A lot of drama in pro wrestling banks on people not knowing the outcomes. I disagree. The vast majority of the time, the outcomes of pro wrestling matches are pretty apparent, especially the big ones (how can the Hulkster EVER slam Andre the Giant?!). Even on the PPVs this guy has spoiled, I'd say it's been no more than 2-3 matches per event where the outcome was really unexpected, and many of those were parts of minor, secondary angles.

As said, don't go online to smark websites the day or two before a ppv knowing a guy is out there leaking stuff. Stick to the program. Not like it's going to jump from reddit to fox news. Also, if you're concerned with 'Systematic corporate sabotage' in one paragraph and in the next saying, 'I'm down with just about anything that damages the company,' you are probably not someone to call upon for rational debate. And lastly: Don't tead spoilers if you do not want results. Spoilers are something people seek. Even here, a warning is required. This is a matter of self control. Don't blame the insider, blame yourself for lacking it if it upsets you so.

Don't blame the insider, blame yourself for lacking it if it upsets you so. There's still plenty of people who are going to wander in on it. There's others who are interested but otherwise wouldn't know how to find out, but word of mouth gives it all away. The dissemination of information is more complex than a linear route where we can assume that isolating some people's access to a source won't prevent it from flowing. Like on twitter, people tweet spoilers all the time and other people get mad about it. I'm not concerned with it in a negative sense. I just find it interesting. But there's a pretty obvious defect in the chain of command when some unknown employee is giving away potentially valuable information for free.

I'm mostly just upset at the people during the PPV thread mentioning the spoilers and hinting at what the result was. Really ruined the wwe money in the bank ladder match for me.

It's obvious this guy (or gal) is getting insider information, but when people are actually paying good money to enjoy a show, the last thing we need is someone on this forum to post his spoilers, or cleverly hint at 'em in a non-spoiler thread.

I managed to avoid spoilers, except for one match where someone said that Cena would win!

I think I'd be more concerned about the people who are supposedly gambling on the pay per view results as seems to be the case considering what's been going on those websites people alluded to, such as the odds for various matches swinging from one way to another for no particular reason. I imagine the WWE could get into some serious trouble if somebody found out there was some insider betting going on, or that people were using this guy's information to gamble.
The longer this guy persists in leaking all this information the more likely it is he's gonna be caught. So I don't expect him to keep it up for too much longer for that reason alone.

I know that this might not sound the best for the forum's health, which I really don't intend for it to, but if you are really worried about this, the key is to just stay off the board/Twitter/Facebook/whatever for four hours. I believe he posts them just an hour or two before. Stay offline for the duration of the show and you are in the clear. I don't think anything he posts will affect post-show discussions, which are really always where the meaty stuff happens anyway. The discussions that happen while the show is going on are honestly pretty flimsy and lackluster since it's just a deluge of people saying the same thing half the time (e.g., Cena wins MITB: "CENA WON" "DAMMIT CENA" "Cena FTW" "So it's Cena, etc.")

Why don't people just not post the spoilers on this board? If you want to know the results before the show so badly, you know where to go to find them. No point in spoiling the people who want to be surpised by the results, but don't want to avoid the forums because they want to participate in the PPV discussion.

Also, if people post spoilers in PPV threads or even allude to them in obvious ways, they should probably get a warning or a potential ban or something. Obviously, use discretion in how it's done, but that would be one way to alleviate their use here.
