Right, I think the answer is sticking to the policies in place regarding spoilers, which I believe is not to openly reveal them until whatever it is has aired on TV, rather than getting rid of spoilers. I'm finding this whole thing very interesting but I think it would only be fair to restrict the spoiler discussion to the spoiler threads.

It never fails that every time I'm watching a Cena match, rooting for the other guy, one of you guys links to inside knowledge and posts a spoiler about Cena winning.

Why don't people just not post the spoilers on this board? If you want to know the results before the show so badly, you know where to go to find them. No point in spoiling the people who want to be surpised by the results, but don't want to avoid the forums because they want to participate in the PPV discussion. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}There's a button that says "SPOILER"... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}...and if you click on it before the show airs... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}... then it's your fault... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}... that you spoiled the results for yourself. Except for the fact that people make comments about the spoilers that aren't put in spoilers, that end up spoiling the people that don't want to be spoiled. I avoided all spoiler tags, and by reading peoples comments, I still knew that Orton was winning MITB.

Those of you saying the person should be fired etc. are insane. If the spoilers irk you that much don't fu***** read them. If I paid for ppvs I would avoid the internet and willingly suspend my disbelief. As I dont order ppv, it's fascinating to see the guy is in the know. Case in point, enjoy him/her while it lasts. Otherwise shut up and don't read credible spoilers if you don't want things spoiled. Logic, eh? The guy is probably breaking a non-disclosure agreement and is going to get sued if he's caught.

My moneys on trying to recreate a 'that'll put butts in seats' moment. No way this has been going on 6 months and no one been caught yet

My theory is that Vince McMahon has gone completely senile and just discovered Reddit.

Also, if people post spoilers in PPV threads or even allude to them in obvious ways, they should probably get a warning or a potential ban or something. Obviously, use discretion in how it's done, but that would be one way to alleviate their use here. I agree here. When people are stating how worried they are about the potential spoilers, it at least points out that Daniel Bryan probably isn't winning the match.

I didn't see it before the show but regardless if this guy works for WWE I hope they catch and fire his ass.

I seriously hope this guy does work for WWE, they find him out, and they fire his ass. I hate that everything is getting ruined by this assclown.

I remember reading this the first time and thinking that he had a really stupid reason for doing it. Something along the lines of "WWE is too predictable so I'm going to spoil the results until they aren't." If he was actually just guessing, that reason would make more sense. But complaining about predictability and then giving the results of some of the matches that actually aren't predictable, like the Smackdown MitB, is counterproductive.

Spoiler button does not work on the App. Whatever is in the tag shows as normal text. I got screwed because of it. Edit: I should add the spoilers were in the main PPV thread. Didn't seek them out in any way.

Wow, people around these parts are really dumb when it comes to spoilers.
Firstly, the guy doesn't work for the WWE. He gets his results from someone who does.

I hope they get found out. I dislike the idea of ppv spoilers out in the open like that. It's just awkward.

In all seriousness, I think in the future it should be a rule that talking about what this guy predicts for PPV results should be kept to threads clearly marked so people can avoid them.
As it is, talking about what he predicted (Before the match is over of course) is the same as a regular spoiler

Even if that's true (and how you could be so sure is puzzling) then the guy that works for the E and is leaking them to this other moron needs to be found out and punished accordingly. So it's really no different a situation.

People should leave the internet when watching PPVs.
I mean is it really hard to shut off your laptop, put away your phone/tablet and get immersed in a PPV for a few hours?
Whilst it sucks that people dont always use spoiler tags its no ones fault but your own for being online and reading about wrestling during the ppv. what do you honestyly expect?

I usually close my laptop when I'm watching a WWE PPV, not necessarily to avoid any potential spoilers (and I see this Reddit account and associated betting odds close to a PPV as potential spoilers, even if technically they may not be), but just to avoid distractions.
I think it's fair to ask for posters not to post without spoiler tags what this Reddit guy predicts and if there are heavy or unusual bedding odds before a PPV. The past few PPVs have just been predictied perfectly, even in situations with a very surprising result. So if you are posting in the live MITB Thread discussion during the show or on the board the day of the PPV, I think you should have to use spoiler tags to discuss the pre-show bedding odds and the Reddit account member is predicting. I think it's easy to avoid spoilers or what this Reddit account and bedding odds are a relatively new issue here for us.
