Dolphins1925 said he's not affiliated with WWE, he just gets his results from a relaible source within the company So instead of having a rat in the company who gives out free info to everyone, there's a rat in the company who gives out free info to a guy who then gives it out for free to everyone. Not sure how that changes anything, even if it's true.

Whether he's a client or a confidant, does it really change the nature of what's going on in any decidedly different manner?

When your hired to a place like WWE, where they plan things week by week, you don't just pass on the matches results to your big shows to some guy to pass along to the casual fan. Because they will pass it on to somebody else who doesn't want to hear it, and ruins the pay per view experience for them. I get that the idea is that they want to hurt the company, and that's exactly what they are doing to some people. But a company shouldn't keep those who are hurting it instead of helping it.

People should leave the internet when watching PPVs. I mean is it really hard to shut off your laptop, put away your phone/tablet and get immersed in a PPV for a few hours? Whilst it sucks that people dont always use spoiler tags its no ones fault but your own for being online and reading about wrestling during the ppv. what do you honestyly expect? I expect other people to be talking about what's going on. That's about how it's been since I started talking about wrestling online god knows how many years ago. Until now, there's not been a way to "spoil" it, because it hasn't happened yet. If we were talking about accidentally reading SD spoilers or something, that'd be something else entirely. What if the info starts being posted 2 weeks before the PPV instead? Seems like a non argument to me. All people really want here is for stuff like this to be handled just like other spoiler info and posted in the appropriate places or at least spoiler tagged. I easily avoid SD spoilers if I want to in the few days before it airs. If this guy's info is handled the same way, I could avoid it as well.

In a shocking swerve, Mr. Spoiler will debut in the WWE as Mr. Psychic, alleging he predicted every single outcome with the help of his incredible powers and will use them to predict every move his opponent will possibly use, defeating every single wrestler in the company. Eventually he'll be taken down by Ryder as he'll hear nothing but boy band tunes as he attempts to read his mind.

I usually close my laptop when I'm watching a WWE PPV, not necessarily to avoid any potential spoilers (and I see this Reddit account and associated betting odds close to a PPV as potential spoilers, even if technically they may not be), but just to avoid distractions. I think it's fair to ask for posters not to post without spoiler tags what this Reddit guy predicts and if there are heavy or unusual bedding odds before a PPV. The past few PPVs have just been predictied perfectly, even in situations with a very surprising result. So if you are posting in the live MITB Thread discussion during the show or on the board the day of the PPV, I think you should have to use spoiler tags to discuss the pre-show bedding odds and the Reddit account member is predicting. I think it's easy to avoid spoilers or what this Reddit account and bedding odds are a relatively new issue here for us. When its a match I really care about, i.e. the two ladder matches last night, I completely agree with you. In those cases I don't want any distractions. When its something like Miz/ lAxel, or a Divas match, I go back a few pages & read what was posted during the other matches. That's how I got spoiled. Again, I use the Pro Boards App 99% of the time on this forum because I don't like the way the site loads on my phone. Unfortunately, spoiler tags don't work on the App. In fact, there isn't even an option for me to use the tag if I was making a post. I really don't think its asking that much to keep spoilers in their own threads, & NOT in the main thread. There's no way I would open the spoiler thread, so I should be able to avoid them very easily. Instead, they get posted in the main thread, people discuss them, & it ruins the experience for people. I'm not even anti-spoiler. I read the Smackdown spoilers every week because I don't record the show, & only turn it on if I'm home, & I have nothing else going on, or nothing else I feel like watching. Again, I have no problem with this guy's "predictions" being posted on this board. All I ask is to keep them in their own thread, & out of the PPV thread. Don't really think I'm asking for that much here, & I know I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

The spoiler rules haven't been enforced much lately, for example Big E winning the NXT title was spoiled everywhere and The Game Of Thrones thread is full of untagged book spoilers (maybe minor but in that show just mentioning that somebody will be alive for the next couple of seasons in spoiler).
Sometimes there's even thread titles that basically say what's going to happen with spoiler written next to them, ie "New ___ champion *spoilers*".

It would be great if people would avoid threads that pretty much explicitly state there were spoilers inside so that the rest of us didn't have to hear complaints about the show being spoiled for days on end.

Honestly, I found the spoilers to be a relief. I had time to digest Orton winning before having to sit there with hopes of an awesome finish and be utterly let down.

Did you even read this thread? People are talking about others posting spoilers in the PPV discussion thread, ruining the results for people just trying to talk about the live show. That's not where spoilers go.

That's not where spoilers go. Personally, I kind of assume that any topic having anything at all to do with an event could have spoilers in it, especially day-of. I'm not trying to say "You guys shoulda known better!" but I've never really found spoilers all that hard to avoid, following that system.
