Just me or did anyone else seen the Kremling in the video too? Yes. They look like they're in the Rush mode.

The 3DS version is coming out first? That's a questionable decision. Even if they finished it first, the slow sales of the WiiU need something like Smash to help it out a bit. I fear that putting it on another platform first may hurt sales of that version. They'd like for you to play that version first to both kill time, and to also get a taste of it. Smash Run is most likely the most effective time killer for single players, but I just like the fact that it features a boatload of enemies, including Kritters. I was disappointed they didn't mention Isaac, but they didn't show him as an Assist Trophy, so there is still hope Golden Sun will make an appearance finally.

After Metroid: Other M(isogyny), I'd say that's pretty tame

There's always the regular suit samus in the game if you don't want to rock out in heels.

Not a fan, but let's not pretend that Samus hasn't been objectified in some fashion since the very beginning.
Justin Bailey, the swim suit stuff for speed runs, it's far from a new concept in the series and it's not something that started with Other M.
Metroid Prime's brief portrayal of her features is far and away the best.

I love Nintendo, and even though I wish I had current-gen Nintendo systems, I still follow the games and get excited for them... except for SSB 2014. I don't know why, but it just doesn't look that special. I'm sure it will play great and all, but it just doesn't feel that new.
Many textures are the same, the engine is still the same from Melee (why not reanimate some stuff?), not many new characters revealed (and some of the new ones aren't that special to be honest, like that 2nd form of Froakie from Pokemon X & Y [don't remember the name]), and the Nintendo direct this past week was not that exciting or anything. Mario Kart looks amazing and exciting. Pokemon X & Y looked cool. Super Mario 3D Land looked wonderful. SSB just doesn't capture my attention. The 3DS version might be interesting with 3D, but that's about it.
I don't know why. It won't be bad, but I'm just not hyped for it. Is this true for anyone else? Anyone want to try and sell me on it?

I'll comment. We have a Smash Bros topic so I moved it here

This seems like it should go in the Smash Bros thread... but yeah it's dumb... especially as the design for the original Zero suit flat out had "NO HEELS" written on it. Which makes sense... as it would be quite difficult to do the constant running and jumping she has to do in heels... edit: Also... as I' now merged this... Brawl did not use the Melee engine, it used it's own engine... and I'm sure the new one has it's own as well... and if you can't tell the difference between the some of the textures and models I don't know what to tell you. Seriously look at that stuffed animal... Also the game has Little Mac in it so you're point about Fighters is invalid -_- ... or your opinion differs from mine... one or the other...

I'm sure Charizard will mostly have the same move set as Brawl, just with a different down B and a different Final Smash. That doesn't mean he'll play the same, just that he'll have mostly the same moves.

so something I've been meaning to ask... does Greninja have his tounge wrapped around his throat like a scarf?
