Don't look at me. I only made Gold last year. Same, though if I actually would've helped out my nephews with registering their games, I would've had Platinum no problem.

Well for the trophies, I will say one thing... {Spoiler}I'm glad this time, we got a trophy of Wario in both his biker and classic attires. That disappointed me in Brawl.

Somebody found all 686 trophies on the 3DS version. This is very important. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} i.imgur.com/N43l3ar.pngi.imgur.com/ORrYj0g.jpgi.imgur.com/FmZiylW.jpgi.imgur.com/jCeSg6S.pngi.imgur.com/4woiHo9.jpgI'll say this... some of the choices are strange, such as how they got Mugly & the Scurvy Crew from DKCR but not Tiki Tong, and how the X&Y Trainers and Sycamore got trophies... I would've paid a lot for trophies of the Team Flare Admins & Essentia. However, three of my favorite opponent boxers from Punch Out!! (Mr. Sandman, Bald Bull, & Glass Joe) got trophies. Also, instead of Final Smashes, the All-Star trophies are mostly alternate palettes. And... no Rayman on this version. This'll confirm who is and isn't in the game, so there's no Ridley or Golden Sun trophies. Stumbled across this earlier myself. The main thing I'm wondering is why there are five Shy Guy trophies. I can understand all of the Wii Fit Trainer poses, but why were there five Shy Guy trophies? And also, each of the Pac-Man ghosts has a trophy, along with the sprite of the Ghost after Pac-Man ate a Power Pellet. I know each of the ghosts has a unique personality, as explored during those Pac-Man Adventure games, but wouldn't they be just a group put in a trophy? Also, wasn't it said that Rayman was supposed to be on both versions, because Ubisoft made the trophies for Nintendo?

Well at least we know the Wii U version will have more trophies. The Wonderful Ones are absent in this set.

I expect the Wii U version to have the Final Smash trophies, as well as a few other third party ones like Rayman and possibly Bayonetta.
And hopefully a Captain Syrup trophy.

But it is odd that Sakurai and his team want to cut out the Wario Land references for some reason.]

There was not a single bad Wario Land game. And contrarily (of course, my opinion), there was not a single good WarioWare game. It's not fair.

I provisionally like the WarioWare games (only played the original, the Gamecube one, and Game & Wario - first one I liked quite a bit, second which is what I played first I hated, Game & Wario I thought was hit and miss but overall too thin on content), but yeah, it's weird how Smash Bros. focuses entirely on them to the exclusion of everything else. And how Wario's two series are kept entirely separate; why not a Wario Land game with a bit more of a fleshed out story with the WarioWare characters in supporting roles? That'd be fun.
Or just put Captain Syrup and Ashley in Smash Bros. That'd be awesome.
Also, have some nightmare fuel -

You'd think they would learn by now that Smash Bros moves mad numbers. Somehow I have the sneaking suspicion that we're gonna see a huge increase in WiiU sales this Christmas season. (At least, I think they'd be crazy to not release the WiiU version this winter.)

They need to redo that video with Lucina.
BTW, seeing videos of her in Smash on YouTube...does she have a different pronunciation to her name between US and Japan like Dedede does? Because in the dubbed trailer the c in her name is pronounced see but in victory screens with her in the Japanese version of the game it's pronounced more like a K.

I'm pretty sure I've heard that Lucina's name is pronounced differently in Japan, yeah. Whatever, I'm going to keep saying it Lou-SIN-uh. Speaking of Lucina, shipping!

I can't believe they didn't put a King Hippo trophy in there! Great Tiger is my favorite, but I can accept why they didn't put him in there. Super Macho Man also not making it is strange considering he's been in most of the games and the one of three opponents who has been in every Nintendo release.
I do like that Dr. Wily is in his defeated pose. That's awesome.

In Japan, isn't Ike said like Ee-Kay?
And I am pretty excited for the game. Hoping it will sell quite well on the Wii-U as well, and I am betting between it, Bayonetta 2, and Hyrule Warriors, Wii-U is going to have some major selling points for people who have held out until now and even Kart hadn't pulled in yet.

Then again, pronunciations are weird in Smash Bros. Like, officially Lucas is supposed to be pronounced as Lucca (for some reason), but Brawl cares not.

Or just put Captain Syrup and Ashley in Smash Bros. That'd be awesome. Yeah, that makes no sense. I mean, the first game did feature a few mentions to previous Wario Land games (the music box world from Wario Land 3 and a picture of the Golden Pyramid from Wario Land 4 are in Wario's house), but nothing afterwords. The funny thing is that not even WarioWare gets a lot of recognition in Smash Bros. One would assume they'd make trophies of those characters, yet the 3DS version only added one character (Ashley), and that's because she was an AT. I am constantly irritated that Wario Land is ignored because that was what got people into liking Wario, and also because that franchise has some pretty impressive music, far moreso than WarioWare. I mean, Wario Land 4 has Toy Block Tower and Shake It! has Glittertown (a remix of Greenhorn Ruins from Wario World), two songs that are not going to be part of the Wii U version simply because they are Wario Land games. No prizes for guessing what Sakurai had as a PoTD today.
