I wasn't exactly sure how to feel about it. I like the premise of having Steph being invested in the angle to try to evaluate the feud in the eyes of more casual viewers. But the execution was off. I didn't really mind the AJ&Steph interaction just because I know how much AJ looks up to Steph even though Steph came off as a bit of an egomaniac. Then when Kaitlyn comes out and rightfully so since she feels robbed and Steph tells Kaitlyn to never interrupt her again. Which came off very bitchy and heelish. So I don't know what Steph's motive is here. Whether she is actually considering wrestling AJ, or whether she will start a partnership with her, try to AJ face somehow or whether she figures that her appearance improved the feud. It just seem odd and confusing. Thought the nip slip was cool i guess

I actually don't mind the McMahon presence and I find it makes sense. WWE genuinely is going through a transitional phase between Vince/Steph/Triple H, Vickie makes sense because in theory she's supposed to be the person in charge while one of Triple H/Stephanie/Vince are supposed to handle the business end of the entire company, yet neither of their egos are willing to step aside for the other one so what we're left with is a clusterf*** but it's by design.
I actually liked Stephanie imposing herself on the divas like that, I think we're supposed to think she's being a bit conniving, and I always like when characters interact with each other in spite of their alignment. It made sense to me that a McMahon would grill someone for interrupting them, and I don't think everyone would be all upset at Stephanie for "burying" Kaitlyn if Kaitlyn wasn't saddled with an act that already seems to be turning people on her.

I thought it was a really good segment (two weeks in a row) except for that one line from Stephanie to Kaitlyn. To quote myself from the divas pic thread: "Stephanie's silly 'I'm the best' interjection ruined the flow of the segment and undermined Kaitlyn. Very HHH-esque."

Stephanie is a cancer to whatever angle she's involved in. I seriously doubt she's ever going to be all that physically involved, so her getting all this heat on AJ will lead to nothing. It just made AJ look bad, and also Kaitlyn looked bad as well since Steph buried her on the way out. This is why I deep down kind of dread the coming HHH/Steph era of WWE. Vince at least knew when to embarrass himself on national TV. I don't get the feeling HHH or Steph have that sense of humor to let themselves look bad.
How many authority figures do we need anyway? On Raw it looks like Vince, Steph, HHH, Vickie, and even Brad Maddox are vying for control, while Teddy Long and I guess Booker T. remain on SD. That's just way too many people.

Like I said in the RAW thread, I imagine it is just meaningless fluff for the Divas E! show.

This show is more scripted than the average RAW so they can be off that week, doing media appearance or just shown backstage saying they are smart enough to not interrupt Steph.

Who says they cannot be on there, especially since all the ones involved in the show have found their way into this angle? Plus a don't piss off the boss thing and something with the McMahon is guaranteed ratings.

Steph comes off as hypocrite as trying to tell AJ how to be legitimate Diva's champion, given that she did a lot of the things AJ did. And I'm not just referring to marrying HHH. She held the Women's title at one point, and ducked every challenge along the way, going months without defending her title, and having women like Tori fight her battles. But at least I can understand why they would put that on TV, given the present day scenarios.
Steph chastizing Kaitlyn was inexcusable though, and reeked of something Stephanie self-inserted to feed her ego and ensure everyone watching got the message that Stephanie was Queen Diva of the land, and AJ and Kaitlyn were below her at all times.

I just don't know where its going (and not in "boy I can't wait to see what happens next" kind of way). Is Steph supposed to be the babyface trying to stand up the evil heel? If that's the case, why did she come across so bitchy in the promo? If she's supposed to be a heel authority figure who bullies the Divas, than why have Heel AJ be the one she interrupts?
My only guess is that she's eventually going to align with AJ and help her maintain the title until a proper babyface challenger can be found. That's just a guess, though. Right now, it doesn't seem to be headed in any direction at all.

Did anyone else dislike how Stephanie supposedly put her hands over the microphones in order to make it so the audience couldn't hear, but then proceeded to talk directly into the microphone?

Seeing one of the head bosses interact with the diva's champ can be a huge positive. If after she was done with AJ, she told Kaitlyn something like "She's yours now" then that will be a good way to build Kaitlyn back up by giving her an endorsement of one of the boss ladies.

I was pretty disgusted to see her bury the division like that. Very HHH-like too.
