New series of threads for a new season.
@probballdraft Getting strong signals in Cleveland that the Cavs have placed Alex Len at the top of their board & will draft him 1st. #NBAdraft
Clever title suggestions are welcome, please.

I'm pretty sure Cleveland has talked to every single NBA team in the past week. They're all over the rumor mill.

So who do you want your team to draft?
I really want Otto Porter for the Kings, but I think he's long gone before we pick at 7 so my realistic choice would be Cody Zeller. A front court of Zeller and Demarcus Cousins would be a handful for opponents to guard.
I also see us making a trade to get back into the first round and with that pick I would love to grab Karasev, Tim Hardaway jr, or Tony Snell.

The Lakers have exercised their option on Jodie Meeks.

Completely unfair that the Spurs never get a chance at the lottery.

It's really questionable if he'll still be there at 22, but I'd love for Brooklyn to take Gorgui Dieng. I think that kid has a ceiling he hasn't touched yet.

Hopefully the Pacers draft a scorer to come off of the bench. I'm sure not much will be there at that point they draft so I kind of hope they can swing a deal for one if there isn't one available then.

Chad ford did float that rumor out there about them trading their pick for Jimmer Fredette. I'd hate to see Jimmer go, but he could really blossom in Indiana.

I wouldn't mind seeing Jimmer come to Indiana. He would definitely be an improvement over what they currently have on the bench. Their bench scoring last year was horrible.

I think a lot of Michiganders would love to see Trey Burke drop down, but that looks unlikely, so it'll hopefully either be C.J. McCollum or Michael Carter-Williams.

I'd prefer them to trade Granger and their 1st rounder for a team's lottery pick. Never thought much of Granger and I'm sure a "star" needed team would take him, especially with a weak draft class. Hell, trade Granger for a few decent guys that could come off the bench. Granger to Orlando for Affalo and someone else. Affalo would be a good 6th man for them.

Dude is a shooter. I don't think he missed a shot that game.

ESPN's Chad Ford said via Twitter late Wednesday that Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert "loves" Indiana's Victor Oladipo, and hinted that the team could be ready to take him with the No. 1 pick in Thursday's NBA Draft.

chris_Broussard Sources: Dwight Howard unlikely to re-sign with the Lakers. Dallas and Houston the favorites. Main issue w/Lakers is Mike D'Antoni's system. chris_Broussard Hearing strong that Lakers have little chance. Can't write them off completely, tho, because of D12's notorious indecisiveness.
