Chucky's face looked genuinely unsettling through a lot of this. At least they got that right.
Thank God that Brad Dourif needs money and did the Chucky voice again. Wouldn't be the same without him.

Well,it at least seems like its still a doll and not CGI.
And what the heck is Ruffalo doing in this?

It's an outrage that this isn't being released in theaters. Millions and millions of dollars that could be made.

Are they still doing the remake as well? I believe that is/was suppose to be in theaters.

Are they still doing the remake as well? I believe that is/was suppose to be in theaters. Supposedly so. I guess a few years ago at a convention Mancini and Kirschner confirmed that they were working on a spinoff and a reboot. They both want the remake to be darker and scary again rather than the comedy movies that Bride and Seed of Chucky were and this movie is the reintroduction to making it scary And one of the main actresses is Brad Dourif's daughter. Also... sheesh Chucky does look fairly creepy in the trailer

I figured the girl put makeup on him, that's why he looks girly in some shots.

I feel like there's very little chance this doesn't suck, though I hope I'm wrong.
For whatever reason, I get Hellraiser: Revelations flashbacks after watching that trailer.

I wish they would have gone with Chucky vs. Leprechaun. Although, since the WWE have the rights to the Lep series, I guess it doesn't really matter. Either way, the concept of the killer doll just seems silly to me. I know it works on kids, heaven knows the idea scared the shit out of me as a kid, but when you get older it just looks goofy. Oh no, something the size of my shin bone is trying to kill me!

It's funny some of you thought it was Hulk in this movie...I could have sworn it was the new Superman, LOL! Turns out the guy is neither actor we thought! Weird.

I actually have liked every Childs Play film even the ones with a more comedic edge. This one looks like it's going back to it's Horror roots which I personally enjoyed more but I wouldn't of minded a nice comedic Childs Play either.
I'll probably rent this when it's released. I'd watch it in the Theatre if it was on at Theatres though, straight to DVD seems like a big financial hit for them. I'd of gone with a limited release in big markets.
