.............are the raiding racists actually complaining about the bags on their heads and not being able to see through the holes cut in them? This is a comedy scene. A COMEDY SCENE in the middle of a movie about killing white ***holes who beat and kill black slaves. .............I was clearly not expecting this at all. I had heard Don Johnson was used very well in this movie, and only a few moments earlier I thought his role was just very brief and un-notable. And hey, I'm pretty sure one of these guys talking is Tarantino. So there's his cameo. Oh yeah, speaking of cameo....... {Spoiler}WHAT THE *&^% IS JONAH HILL DOING IN THIS MOVIE?!?!?!!!!!!!1111111

Django Unchained is a good film, but it does go all over the place as it goes along.

That's not Tarentino, you'll know him when you see him.

The best cameo is the one no one even talks about;
Bruce Dern

There's also a moment of brilliance in that scene. The leader of the group says that seeing isn't important because only the horse needs to see where it's going, which is why it doesn't wear a mask. Fast forward a few decades later... {Spoiler}

This thread surprises me. I thought Django Unchained was incredible.
A comedy scene in an otherwise serious situation is vintage Tarantino, nothing wrong with it and I laughed heartily.

It was a funny scene. Hell Tatantino always incorporates comedy in inappropriate times like a guy getting his head blown up by accidental misfire or two nazis having sex. Also Jonah Hill was suppose to have a bigger role in the movie but he couldn't become a full time character due to scheduling conflicts. Same with Joseph Gordon Levitt

DiCaprio's best role to date. Very well might be, and that's as a big fan of DiCaprio. Maybe he will celebrate with white cake.

Definitely one of DiCaprio's better roles, and they actually got me to legit hate Samuel L. Jackson in a movie which I had thought near-impossible. Kudos to Tarantino!
