*Inb4 jokes that it's good we can't hear him cause he's a terrible promo.*
When Axel was cutting his promo tonight all I could think of is "my god does he need to project his voice". I mean i get why a monster type character might speak in a low volume but there's no real reason for young brash heel like Axel to not speaking louder.

His promo was fine and made sense to me. I heard him fine too.

His promo was fine and made sense to me. I heard him fine too. Same. I was watching an old segment the other day with someone cutting a promo, but they were shouting into the mic and I was wondering why they didn't just talk normally. The microphone does all the work, there's no need to shout as well. Things seem to be changing with several of the newer guys speaking at normal volume.

Still doesn't cut it for me on the mic atm but that's just my view. Still time to improve.

Sounds like he's trying to pace his promos like Orton does.

Axel's biggest problem is that he has zero credibility at this point, he doesn't beat anyone and no one takes him seriously.

Sounds like he's breastfeeding. If he gives another bad promo delivery, I'd say he deserves a spanking.

I always assumed the reason he became a Heyman client was so Heyman could do the talking for him. Axel's good in-ring, but "personality" isn't his strong suit. He really benefits from having a dynamic manager to help shape some kind of character for him. What's his character now? 3rd Generation Wrestler? Bearded wrestler? Heyman guy is about it.

Axel's biggest problem is that he has zero credibility at this point, he doesn't beat anyone and no one takes him seriously. I know I'm beating a dead horse on this one, but I think this stems from WWE's refusal to actually put effort into building a midcard. They've spent so much time over the years using "Michael McGillicutty" as a "jobber to the jobbers", having him be the guy who gives low card faces their monthly token pity wins, and then just thrust him into the limelight without any real build. WWE refuses to put anyone on TV that Axel COULD go over in a solid, competitive match. As a result, the only people Axel is seen interacting with are "name talents" and thus Axel just looks outclassed next to the likes of HHH, Cena, and even Miz. Putting on solid competitive matches with HHH and Cena should give him credibility even with the fluky nature of his victories, yet for some reason it hasn't. WWE has written him off as an afterthought, but still expect us to care about him simply because Paul Heyman is standing behind him.
