Maestro apparently had MMA training when he started wrestling in 1990. My bet? Took some karate, some boxing, some random other stuff and declared it MMA.

I liked Maestro in late WCW but the dude is point blank annoying with the stuff he shills. I had him on Facebook after watching some late WCW once and had to remove him after awhile due to how much stuff he shilled.
Every post was "The Maestro is available for TV, Film, Independents, Seminars" on his status updates or a shill for his website or a shill for his merchandise or his dates or whatever.
As for his wiki, clearly written by him. His "Guest appearance" on One Tree Hill was an extra's role. The rest of his acting resume consists of low budget indy films there he's a featured extra or bit player. Nothing wrong with them to fill up a resume but it's all he seems to be able to get acting wise.

Bumping this up because I found a great one by one of the best self promoters online, Jude Mackenzie. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:JudeMackenzieBonus points for not knowing how wiki works. I actually feel kind of bad posting it, because I like Jude a lot.

Looking at the Talk Tab of that page I came across the greatest quote I've seen in a long time: One of 1000 indy wrestlers ripping off a successful star and someone mentioning it on a message board is not the same as "frequent comparisons to the Undertaker"

I don't really have an issue with these guys writing something themselves just in an attempt to get more work (I do the same with my IMDB page) but when it's like thousands of words about how you've worked the regional indies for 10 years it's pretty laughable and clearly a dude marking out for himself. EDIT: Brimstones IMDB page is just as funny as his old Wikipedia page. Here's a link for anyone interested. www.imdb.com/name/nm2620244/

Low ki trained him. That explains everything. I think it was more Low Ki did a training seminar and watched people take bumps.

I'm sure Vince or Triple H or Undertaker have never heard of Brimstone but I think it would be funny for Vince to bring him on Raw in front of millions of people only to tell him off for making it seem like he's more important to wrestling than himself, Undertaker, Triple H, Michaels, Rock, Cena or any of the other big name guys still around frequently.
"I'm a billionaire, I hosted a crowd of 93,000 at wrestlemania, I made Hulk Hogan the biggest star in wrestling and someone YOU have a bigger Wikipedia than I do?!"

I think I remember a Bryan and Vinny show where they mentioned wiki's where it looked like Vince Russo edited them to make sense of some storylines he wrote. Road Dogg's, for example, when it's talking about the VKM run in TNA.

So I decided to dink around on Brimstone's IMDB page (whitch is totally rediciously by the way) and found this gem:
Ask yourself this: Which of these names does not belong?

I don't think he ever appeared on it. Wouldn't put it past this guy to subtly include a WWE Credit but I figure if he had actually done it he'd be shouting from the roof tops about how he was a former WWE Superstar.
