So it was reported that Larry Zbyszko was at the opening of the WWE Performance Center. It was an Invite Only event so I would say that was a symbolic invite, no?
Would anybody be able to shed light on his bad blood with McMahon? And is this a sign that he could be heading into the HOF ala Sammartino?

They thought that he was JTG so they let him in.

He was also at Axxess at WrestleMania this year. I know I was shocked when I saw him there.

With their History of the WWE DVD and book they're working on, I'm sure he's giving his input. Plus last year during some poll on WWE.com, they asked which legend we wanted to see on a future Legends of Wrestling roundtable. They listed Trish Stratus, JBL, Larry Zbyszko, Vader, and a few others.
Also, he lives in the county the Gym is located. So it was a quick drive.

Larry has a WWE Legend's contract. That was in the news around Wrestlemania.

I think he lives in the area, could be as simple as that.

What's their history together? and bad blood? Larry's whole thing was that he was proud of the fact he never took a pay day from Vince Jr. unlike all of the top guys in the territories or something like that. He also married into the Gagne family and was WCW for life after AWA folded. He also had heat with Jericho about Jericho using the "Living Legend" slogan on merch.

Zbyszko really is a "living legend" in his own mind. He was decent back in the day but not that great.

Zbyszko is the Don Majikowski of wrestling- he had one gem of an angle with Bruno and nothing of note before or after (Outside of his father in law handing him the world title in AWA).

although it is probably an unfair comparison I always imagined Larry being like that guy on King of the Hill who was an ex-Cowboy who moved into the neighborhood who was living off of blocking some kick. I could see Larry inviting people over and saying "wanna watch my cage match with Bruno?"

For all that is good, keep him away from the commentary table. And keep him away from any future commentators.

It was reported back during the Mania season that he had signed a Legend's contract. This was confirmed outright in the Bruno Sammartino Hall of Fame video package as it showed recent interview clips of Larry Zbyszko discussing Bruno Sammartino, obviously filmed recently by WWE.

He's going to teach the rookies about "the science" of wrestling. I swear he was obsessed with "the science".
