I feel WWE missed a great opportunity tonight with Bray Wyatt. See, I would've booked it (I know, tough guy "armchair booker") where when Bray was letting R-Truth come at him, Truth would hit him with the chair and Bray gets up and tells him to hit him again. Truth repeatedly hits him with the chair but Bray keeps telling to hit him while laughing and has an evil grin on his face. Truth finally stops with a shocked look on his face wondering why he would ask him to hit him and also that there is someone crazier than he is. As Truth is in shock, the Wyatt Family comes from behind and takes him out all the while Bray is sitting up in the ring laughing maniacally. Bray hits his finisher and the segment ends as it did. Not only would this be an awesome visual, but it establishes Bray Wyatt as the crazy son of a bitch he is. This is why I wish protected chair shots to the head and blading were allowed sometimes (note sometimes) as I feel it would've put this segment over the top, full stop if something like that would've happened instead of the tired, cliché and generic playing possum and attack from behind that Bray did. What do you guys think? Just a thought I had while watching the segment tonight.

That's similar to the former gimmick of the man in your avatar and probably will be his gimmick again once be breaks from the Shield.

I thought it was fine and effective way to just keep building up the Wyatt's how it was. It build the Wyatt family as dangerous and Bray got some promo time to introduce himself to the crowd.
And on another note, I'll be honest and this probably isn't the right thread for it but the Wyatt family really do nothing for me. I mean I can see why other people liked them and praise them but they don't really click with me. Maybe it's just I have not been exposed to enough Wyatt segments but they just seem alright to me. Pretty cool they get the face pops thought.

But I was thinking more in terms of Fight Club. The scene where the owner of the bar shows up in the basement and then punches the hell out of Tyler Durden but he just laughs and the owner keeps wailing but Tyler isn't phased. Or a similar scene in The Dark Knight where basically the same thing happens but with The Joker and Batman. I was also influenced by early Mankind. Just a lunatic who doesn't care if he's hurt, he just wants to hurt other people.

The Wyatts are the most interesting thing in wrestling to me right now (tied with Punk v Heyman) but they have to adhere to the lawsand logic pf pro wrestling. They can't go out and be any worse than a pro wrestler. They looks like slasher film villains mixed with the Red State church cult, but they still are only going out there to wrestle people. their charm may lose steam after a bit, but man they look the part. I'm a big fan so far.

I... Can't take them seriously... One look and all that runs through my mind is the dueling banjo song.

I liked it how they did it, with Truth looking at him like "The f*** is wrong with this guy" before being jumped.
Also kudos for how Bray handles the WHATs, never allowing a real pause

The racial tension was thick. It really wasn't. Nope. The Shield, 2 white guys and a Samoan guy, beat up a black guy. Was there racial tension there? I don't even really see the Wyatts as rednecks or any of that, they're a cult.

It wasn't about the beat down, rather the message.

I'm not sure how the live crowd really feels about Wyatts rambling promo style, it's a bit too out there for most people and if anything he should keep his promos short since there confusing.

I wonder why Bray Wyatt can't go for that, though.
