www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hTayGhf4SoThere for a while, Sheamus was one of the hottest things going on Smackdown, and his matches were always top notch. Tensai had finally started to find his groove, it appeared, before becoming Hip Hop Hippo redux. Now Sheamus is a walking Irish joke, and Tensai is just a joke. I really feel like they dropped the ball with both of those guys, especially when they could put on good, hard hitting matches like that one.

I still hold out hope that Tons of Funk turns heel and becomes ass-kicking monsters, but with the Shield and Wyatts around, that's looking unlikely.

Nothing happened with Tensai, he was always going to be Sweet T he just happened to have a good match against an opponent that suited his style. Sheamus on the other hand just hasn't really been given a feud since Sandow, before that was what, the Del Rio feud? For someone they push as super important they don't really give him much to do. By feud I mean a proper program, his time with Henry is really difficult to call a feud.

Between Del Rio and Sandow was Big Show and the Shield, he just lost those.

Sheamus is too busy with his other job at 1-800-fella to be too involved with anything in ring these days.

Such a great match.
I agree, Tensai should have continued on as a hard-hitting monster (especially if they had plans well in advance for the Fandango thing -- honestly, how many dancing characters do we need?) As for Sheamus, I continue to loathe that his character is pretty much "Irish Cena" but he consistently turns out awesome matches, with this past PPV being no exception.
It'd never happen, but imagine the two as a "power and paint" team in the vein of the Road Warriors or Demolition. Give them a badass theme song and have them rule the tag division for a while.

I'd even settle for a new "APA" style team. Just 2 big brawlers, not big on finesse, that beat you into paste. Perfect foils for the Shield, if you ask me. Pity they screwed that up by having the Shield beat Sheamus 3 times already.

It seems like since his never-ending feud with Del Rio finally came to a close they really had nothing solid for Sheamus to sink his teeth into.

Making Sheamus a generic milquetoast babiest of faces killed his momentum.
But turning Tensai into Sweet T was the best they could've done.

1-800-FELLA is really picking up and Sheamus is busy trying his best to meet the demand, he apparently outsourced some work to India, I called the other day and Jinder Mahal ran in(he didn't help)
