I know hotmail.com is now Outlook. But is there any way I can sign into my old hotmail account? I have messages saved in there that I want to get a hold of.

I would imagine you'd just log in with your old Hotmail username/password and it'd transfer you over to Outlook....

Do you mean email? Because if you do, you can just sign in with the hotmail email address and everything should still be there.

Everything is still there. I have had my live/hotmail for years and I still have my old stuff.
And I first read this as "question about Hentai"... Why?

I converted my mom's acct before the official change, and that's what I did then, so I just thought it might still be the same. How odd. ........did you add @hotmail.com at the end?

I was out of town for a few weeks came back and had a message waiting on my AOL account saying they shut it down, and sure enough they had. I tried to get it reinstated, but they refused.

Seeing this thread made me check out my Hotmail account. It switched over to Outlook and everything I'd had in the old box is gone. No saved mails, no contacts....not a damn thing.
