Dang "- Before he signed with TNA, Taz tried to get back into WWE. He wanted to return in time for the RAW taping from Brooklyn, New York. He called several people in the company, but Executive Producer Kevin Dunn had no interest. During a recent production meeting, WWE EVP Triple H said, "TNA doesn't have anyone we need."" www.411mania.com/wrestling/news/291795/WWE-News:-Jerry-Lawler-Has-Travel-Error,-Taz-Tried-To-Get-Back-In-WWE.htm Rajah is sourced though so...

And he's right too.
I mean, who on TNA's current roster could benefit the WWE at this point, other than their indy workers?

Well...he's right. Honestly, the roster is absolutely stacked right now. Sure, there are guys in TNA that I would love to see on a bigger platform but nobody that WWE needs to pick up.

I'm sure WWE might WANT some TNA talent but they certainly don't NEED them right now.
Guys like Hogan, Jeff, Angle & Sting would no doubt make WWE money but they are not crying out for new talent and are not struggling.

They don't NEED anyone but I'm sure if Sting was willing to come over they wouldn't turn him away

It was Vince that wanted Sting. HHH probably doesn't care/respects his wishes to stay where he is.

He's right. As has been mentioned there's a stacked roster, there's an excellent developmental system, and the in ring product is the strongest it's been in years. There's nobody from TNA that the WWE needs. There are guys they probably want like Roode, Storm, Sting, and Aries, but they don't need them. They've got everything they need.

Can they at least get TJ Perkins? It's an injustice for that delicious piece of man candy to wear that ridiculous Suicide/Manik costume.

I agree with the assessment, WWE's ranks are teeming with ricockuously talented individuals waiting for their shot.
That said, I would be proper surprised if Bobby Roode rode out the rest of his career never gracing the halls of Titan. He is inch-to-inch heir to what HHH considers to be a pro-wrestler; a true NWA heel with a modern slant.

Hardy, Hogan, and Sting could still make money for the WWE, so I'm sure WWE would be open to bringing either of those guys in (assuming Hardy's drug problems are gone).
Other than that, I think it is a two way street. Guys like Joe, Aries, Roode, Storm, and Styles are all in their early-to-mid 30's and have been on TV for ~10 years, so it wouldn't benefit either party if those guys went to developmental, got their names changed, and spent a few years working their way up. On the flip side, WWE has a lot of indy guys now, and those guys haven't been exposed to TV as much, so it would be easier to mold those guys into WWE characters than it would be to bring in Samoa Joe and have him play someone else (he'd get Samoa Joe chants, I'm sure).

Those guys that you listed that haven't been in the E before would all be doing time in NXT and I doubt that there's really much interest in many of these guys really. Why bring back Hogan, Sting, Jeff, or Kurt to make big money and have to fit them into top storylines when they can keep doing what they're doing now and having much success?

If they're going to bring back Van Dam why not people equal to him popularity wise? I could see them wanting Sting, Kurt and Jeff the most. I think if TNA died tomorrow they'd probably pick up Aries, Roode and Magnus also. With Hulk, for WWE it's a no brainer. Have him make an appearance once a year and the rest of the year have him be the official WWE Ambassador.

Anything to keep Taz away from the WWE is one decision I'll support HHH on.
