We al know NYC, Boston and Philly are filled with smarks, but what about marks. Say for instance WWE only wanted to tour in cities where John Cena got cheered every time and his opponent always got booed. What would those cities be?

My town of Biloxi, MS would be a pretty good start. Cena and Randy Orton are beloved by many here (it's not unusual to see adults wearing Cena t-shirts in public at non-wrestling events), and alot of people just don't really "get" guys like CM Punk.
It's also where Jack Swagger got arrested (technically Gulfport, which is just outside of Biloxi)...

Markville, MN and St. Marks, Florida are good markets for WWE. They give WWE good marks in the media and they always mark their calendars when WWE announces that they are returning.
Denmark is also a great international area but they are always fighting over trademark laws.

Lexington, KY is an odd town. It is a smark town, as most people have been exposed to indie wrestling, OVW, and old-school stuff like ICW. A lot of people grew up watching Jerry Lawler or SMW.
But, the heels get booed and faces get cheered. Nobody buys into the whole workrate/indy-darling thing.
Rupp Arena is pure Cena country.

The entire Southern U.S. are Kool Aid Puppets. I see the next civil war being U.S. Northern Smarks vs Southern Marks.

You were the guys like me that made the trip to those shows and also to Indiana to Evansville for USWA...Still rings true here today...As trained as can be...Cheer the faces...Boo the heels...

A few years ago on a local radio interview Batista said working in OVW was like wrestling in front of the Crying Wrestling Fan times 100. So I guess KY and NC count as mark territory.

Anywhere in West Virginia, believe me.
I imagine that most of the Appalachian region is very similar, too.

Louisville is similar to Lexington since the OVW, USWA, and all that are similar. There's a smark edge to the crowds here, but I don't get the feeling that the rabid Cena haters even bother going to WWE events anymore. The recent TNA crowd seemed very smarkish and knowledgeable but it wasn't a "cheer the heel, boo the face" type crowd. Maybe the ROH crowds at the Davis Arena were kinda weird, but that was a very small subset.

Not a city, but I'd say most of the UK.
Yeah, we get rowdy and like to chant random stuff, but for the most part we cheer who we're "supposed" to.

The shows I've been to in the Alabama area have been pretty markish. It's sorta awesome honestly. I was at Mania this year and it seemed like a big chunk of people there just were not in the mood to like anything...anywhere...ever.

Surely all crowds are "Marks" unless they directly oppose the intended reaction and thus become smarks?
If the difference has shifted so much that we now need to point out cities that go WITH the status quo, surely going against the status quo is now the new status quo?
