Okay, what are some examples of the worst censorship that a movie gets? In my opinion, in recent memory, people have reverted back to the annoying censorship of the words "ass" and "bitch." I remember how in the late 1990s and early 2000s, that became common to hear in TV versions of movies, but now, they went back to censoring THOSE words? The word "ass" is not that bad of a word.
Also, believe it or not, back in 1999/2000, when "Back To The Future Part II" aired on USA/Sci-Fi, they actually censored "butthead." Now WHY on earth should THAT be censored? Because they don't want little kids to learn that word?
Any other examples?

In some airings of "Ferris Beuluer's Day Off", they censor the line "You are an asshole!" to something like "You are an idiot" or something.

Pulp Fiction edited for television: "Do you see a sign on my lawn that says Dead [African American] storage?"
Liar, Liar: "I'm Kicking my *voice that clearly is not Jim Carrey* [BUTT], do ya mind?"

Pulp Fiction edited for television: "Do you see a sign on my lawn that says Dead [African American] storage?" They seriously went with the most generic term possible? Heck, if they were so afraid of complaints of racism, they could have just have him say "dead dude storage". Also, who the f*** is gonna watch a Quentin Tarantino and be afraid of the N-word? Oh sure, the horrific violence and drug use are fine, but slurs? TOO FAR.

Speaking of censoring the word ass, the line "She was the greatest piece of ass I've ever had, and I've had them all over the world!" from The Godfather was changed to "She was the greatest piece of stuff I've ever had, and I've had them all over the world!" Besides the over reacting by feeling the need to censor the word "ass". Changing it "stuff" in this context just seems creepy.

In Ghostbusters, at least on the Disney channel, they changed Walter Peck's name to "Wally Wick" and said "its true, this man is some kind of rodent". Now i understand the latter, but why change the guy's name?

I've had it with these monkey fighting snakes on this Monday to Friday plane.
Legend has it that Samuel L Jackson picked that replacement dialogue himself.

There was a video on YouTube regarding the differences between the Robocop shown in theatres and the one shown on US TV, but the one what really got me, was the censoring of the word "shmuck". A Yiddish word, of all things that doesn't even sound bad in the first place.

When they showed the 2nd Resident Evil movie on Oxygen one of the STARS officers was giving LJ a shotgun they changed his line "Motherf***** please, my shit is custom." to "Motivator please, my stuff is custom."

Now i understand the latter, but why change the guy's name? Because the original line is: "Your Honor, everything was just fine until the power grid was shut off by Dickless here." Which led to Venkman saying, "Yes it's true. This man has no dick."

'You never find a stranger in the Alps.' WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN??!!?!?!?!? If you meet someone in the Alps, it's someone you already know? WHAT?!?
'This town is like a chicken, ready to be plucked.' Ok, that makes some sense in context, but still.

There's some weird stuff in this one: Yeah, considering that series of competing grocery store commercials that followed it had way stronger language that was left uncut.

Dumb & Dumber:

My personal favorite because of how obviously edited it sounded.

In Repo Man , motherf***er is changed to Melon Farmer. Came here to post this. Another classic is that in The Breakfast Club where the swearing is replaced with a random guitar riff.

'You never find a stranger in the Alps.' WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN??!!?!?!?!? If you meet someone in the Alps, it's someone you already know? WHAT?!? The best part is that it sounds like John Goodman is just saying whatever he can think of at the time, like if they told him in the recording booth "Okay, you can say anything as long as it has the same amount of syllables and is G-rated".
