Gus, let me just say this: 2011 Gus would be welcomed in FAWA, WWE:FAN, and TNA:FAN(I know you're not rejoining, so relax).
Also, I could write a book about all the shit that's gone down in my life over the last year. But the key is keeping it separate. Just like you shouldn't bring your personal issues to work, you shouldn't bring your real life problems into a place that's supposed to be an escape. I second Anti's suggestion: Take a break. Recharge your batteries, sort out the real life stuff, then come back when you're ready.

A break is out of the queztion. Too close to GM6. I'll write my match for this week.
And Hayden, you left out the part where I chose to not make the ending a DQ because 1. I'd have been in worse trouble than I was anyway and 2. All animosity aside, you did dezerve the title. Do I wish it had been under better circumstances? Yes, but it happened and nothing can be done to change it. Now the business of fixing my reputation is mine to take care of.

To quote Eric Bichoffs theme, "I'm back and I'm better than ever" My laptop is finally back after basically being gutted and getting a lot of things replaced. now back to the promoing and scheming and other such activities Which means we got some writing to do. Oh yes... As for Gus leaving, to be blunt, good. Taking your frustrations out on your peers is never cool. It wasn't cool when I did it in that promo and I apologized afterwards. Now that you finally bring your problems to light, it was never cool when you did it either. Let that be the lesson. Learn that before coming back please. Evil M is right about 2011 Gus though. Hell, even a good chunk of 2012 Gus would be welcome. You won the MitBoB WHC Shot on our good will. If that Gus returned, we'd be more than happy to welcome him. But really, a lot of the problem ultimately stems from poor methodology. I understand that Gus wanted to be like Austin, but here's the key element that made Austin work: he started out as a heel and nothing about him actually changed when he turned face. What changed was that he faced heels instead of faces. He traded Savio Vega and Bret Hart for Mr. McMahon and The Rock but he was the same character. When a face starts walking and talking like a heel, they will feel like a heel and will be regarded as such. If Gus had started with a heel turn, he actually would have been a rather good one. And if he gave such a gimmick a couple of feuds to establish a consistent character he could have transitioned to a face turn while retaining the same essential gimmick. Consistency is key. That still wouldn't excuse the writing which glorified Gus over his opponents, but at least it would have been one fewer problem and probably a much less drastic situation like now.

Hey guys, I know normally when I come into these threads its either to make a joke, act mysterious, or shill one of the other e-feds but I saw something that genuinely scared me a bit, so I wanted to hopefully help out a bit. And I'll admit one thing here that might, at least to me, explain some of why I've admittedly been a bit unhappy/unpleasant/whatever, and I know this may just sound like another excuse but it's the truth: I've been dealing with a lot of shit in my off-forum life: My car has power issues and I need to get it looked at and have needed to for a year now Our farm has been having problems and more problems, causing lots of stress for my parents and thus me Mom's parents died within days of each other a couple of months ago I'm getting overloaded at work and do not get along well with some of my co-workers, one of whom is actively trying to get me fired Work is also messing up my sleeping and is a major drain, leaving me rather irritable on-and-off-forum I'm stressing out about not having my GED yet (algebra is my utter worst subject) among other things. Yeah, I admit it's seeping in here (which didn't help me much at all in True Blood Mafia), and it is affecting my work and attitude and such. Couple that with the reasons I've mentioned before and honestly, this is not the Gus Richlen from 2011. I doubt that Richlen is even welcome anymore either. Gus, I know we've had our issues in the past (and we might even have some in the present, who knows, I've lost track ) but I wouldn't feel right without trying to talk to you about these two posts. Because they genuinely scare me. No offense, but from what you wrote in the first post, I think its fair to say things aren't exactly going great right this second. And while, yes, we all deal with issues, for you to post about it means that it has been impacting you enough that you're bringing it up with people you barely know and never have met. So it's clearly having an effect on you emotionally and physically. I can't lie and act like I'm in your shoes, because I'm not, but I know that my lesser issues have been rough in their own right. I'm rambling, but the point that I'm getting at is that you're going through a lot. And that second post really freaks me out because of it. Moreso than any sort of FAWA drama, the thing that scares me is the first line saying "A break is out of the question. Too close to GM6." Listen, I'm great friends and pretty much love nearly every member of WWE:FAN and TNA:FAN but the moment that starts interfering in my personal life or I can't handle the stress, I'm out. You can't let a game, any game, impact your life in a negative way. Positive? Sure, make some virtual friends, write some fun characters/feuds and have a great time. But negatively? That ain't worth it. Its never worth it. I mean, think about it this way. This board nearly got deleted over WWE copyright issues. If that happened, no FAWA, no WWE:FAN, no anything. That really would have sucked... but I could have lived with it. Because at the end of the day... its a game. Whether I'm a 500 time WWE Champion or a jobber who's done nothing, it doesn't matter outside of that one thread. No one cares. The thing that scares me is that I don't think you could react the same. I don't know if you can just see all of this as what it is. A fun timewaster. Any drama you have, either in-character or in this e-fed, is... pretty much useless. No offense to anyone, but I believe Hayden is in California. I sure as hell am never seeing him, and if he hated my guts that would be disappointing, but nothing that I'd really let bring me down. I remember Jazzman worded it really well when I had a PM conversation with him. I have enough people that hate me in real life to worry about people on a website. What's gone on here has been unhealthy on all accounts, and I think there a question that you need to answer to yourself Gus. Have the problems in this e-fed impacted me in real life? Have the problems in real life impacted me in this e-fed? If the answer to either one of those is yes, then there's a problem. Because there is no way a game should have that sort of effect on you. I'm not looking for a fight, I'm just afraid that you've let a game get in your head to an unhealthy degree. I don't know if this is just going to be blown off or you'll actually give it a read, but I would really appreciate a response either way.

Gus we all need breaks. Man I took one earlier this year. Remember what Ice always said this is a place for fun. If you are having other problems and not having fun take a brake. You at this point have half the roster along with multiple others telling you its fine to have a break. GM is just a show that at the end of the day a bunch of guys on the internet put together in there free time. Nothing more, nothing less. We are here to have fun and escape out lives, but right now you can't. So take a brake and return better than ever

One thing mostly unrelated to the personal issues and frustration: could we maybe have some more female competitors? The only ones we have are Shaelin, Mary Harper (who needs more action), Ashley Conda (who seems to have vanished), MooMoo Ant (same as Ashley), and Ophelia SHadowgail, who has done basically nothing. And I'm really deadset on having a women's division and title. Hell, I'll run a special one-shot show to crown the first champion if we get enough characters.

Staying. Not taking a break. Ever. Dude, I don't mean to impose, but that is a seriously unhealthy attitude. I get that this place is important to you, but you've got to draw the line somewhere. First you say you're leaving, then you say 'MAYBE' you'll stay, now you're saying you're not only staying, but you won't take a break ever. That sounds more like a desperate grab for attention than anything, which is kinda pathetic. You need to realise that sometimes you have to put stuff like this on the back-burner for a while and sort out your life. It's not like the FAWA won't be here when you get back, and no one's said you won't be welcome when you do come back. I'm not exactly a fan of you Gus, but I can't see someone behave like this and not be worried about it. Do yourself a favour, take a break and come back with a clear head. The one you've got on right now has become a bit too swollen.

The subject was dead the moment I made the push for the Women's Division. I'm burying it now. I am sick of talking about it and I believe everyone else is too. We're moving on as of now.

The subject was dead the moment I made the push for the Women's Division. I'm burying it now. I am sick of talking about it and I believe everyone else is too. We're moving on as of now. I'm sorry but the matter most certainly is not dead and just because you say it is does not make it so. Nor you wanting a women's division. In case for some reason you forgot to realize the FAWA is not yours. As of right now I am the one who has final say over what does and does not happen. The reason no one is talking is because the vast majority of this fed is feeling alienated, frustrated, and downright apprehensive about doing any sort of interaction and that is mainly as a result of your continued actions. Many here have spoken about how you are taking this a bit too much to heart and I am in agreement with them. So as of right now you have a decision to make. You can either take a break of your own choice and volition and get your head on straight and come back at a later time when everything has died down, and frankly I wouldn't count on it being prior to Gookermania, or I can involve the mods who have been aware of this situation for some time. And if you should decide to go the latter route I will remind you that doing so would not only jeopardize any involvement you have with the FAWA but any other fed, game or thread you are involved in.

At this time, I want to address what has transpired over the past 24 hours and in reality the past few months.
As many of you will confirm there has been a bit of an ongoing issue that had been taking place with relation to a member of the FAWA. At the time things were carefully considered and with the assistance of forum staff it was decided to allow this member to continue to participate with a warning. Some time passed, things quieted down but sadly things started to come to a head again over these past few weeks. Last night I took, what I felt, was a necessary action given the disruptive nature with which things had been escalating. It was a decision that I did not come to lightly but I felt that the person in question needed to distance themselves for the time being. That person has instead chosen to remove themself and stated that they will not be returning.
While I know there may be some of you within this community who feel uncomfortable with what has occured I wish to let all of you know that my intentions with this were only for the reason of making the FAWA a fun place for all of us to interact and felt that with the ongoing issues that it was having an adverse effect not just on those involved directly, but also those who were observing it. Should anyone wish to discuss what has occured with me I openly invite said discussion. I have said I have an open-door policy and have never wanted to infer otherwise. And while what has transpired is difficult, I for one would request that for the sake of Gus that any reference be made with respect. His achievements here will not be erased nor forgotten and I invite everyone to not dwell on the negatives but remember the positives as we look forward.
So, with that being said, let's make the FAWA the enjoyable and fun place we've come to expect of it.
Sincerely,
Connor (Greg)

You did good CM. You've gained a lot of respect from me doing that. I took a massive break here for a month and I thought that if I kept going with the pressure of real life I would have been disruptive, disrespectful and an overall ass. I didn't particularly know what was going on when I came back, but now it's all too clear. Wish I could have gave Gus a bit of my opinion even if it wouldn't mean anything. But still.
