Honestly, I was thrown off by Kosar's commentary the other night watching the game. He acted like Clemens touched his kid, ran over his dog and burned his house down. He sounded drunk off his ass and just came off as a major asshole by the end of the game.

Jesus, the only way you could fit any more irrelevance into this article is if you shoved McNabb in here somehow.

I'll post this in here from the other thread too:
I watched the first series for each team, Cutler had the pick on their first play, and had to watch the rest of the DVR later.
As to be expected in the first pre season game it was sloppy at times, but there were some good things too. Jon Bostic's pick-6 made for a nice debut & 6th rd WR Marquess Wilson had a nice 58 yd catch/run for a TD. I thought Kyle Long looked alright. He still has a lot of work to do, but at least he didn't look lost. Bushrod & Slauson were great signings, & will anchor the line, but damn, J-Webb Nation still sucks.
Obviously the play calls from Trestman were very basic, & relied on the slant for the most part. Mel Tucker added some bump & run, but it's still the same Bears defense we all know & love. Looking forward to next week, & I'm counting down to opening day September 8. Can't wait!

Ravens agreed to terms with WR Brandon Stokley, formerly of the Broncos.

I really think the Rams are going to shock a lot of people this year. I see them in the playoffs. Jeff Fisher is building a winner with the picks they made in the draft this year and last year.

Doubtful... they still have a pedestrian offense thats completely unproven, plus a petty difficult road schedule. I'd be surprised if they b roke even thbis year

I think Kosar has a speech impediment due to concussions he suffered during his career. He seems to have slurred speech in recent interviews I've seen him it, like in the 30 for 30 Broke. I can understand throwing a guy a bone since it is a local broadcast, but I do wonder if he should have been in the booth to begin with.

I could see the Rams making a little bit of noise this season.

Either last year, or earlier this year I noticed the same thing. Can't remember why he was getting play here in Chicago, but it was evident something was wrong.

I think at least they'll give Seattle and San Francisco runs for their money. EDIT: Don't forget about Tavon Austin. He will really open things up and bring a new dynamic to the offense.

Who's going to be in the "worst to first" role, & vice versa? I'm not confident that any of the teams that finished last made enough improvements to make the jump to the top of the heap , but Kansas City should be drastically improved. Out of every team that finished first I don't think any will finish last. At the same time I think Green Bay, Baltimore and New England will take a step backwards from this past season.

Watched a bit of the Giants-Steelers game before the third and fourth stringers came out. Liked what I saw, especially from Cruz and the defense. Damontre Moore and Johnathan Hankins look like they're going to be solid players.

Is it bad that I want the Lions to use Kickalicious over Akers?

According to ESPN New York, sources close to the Jets don't know if Santonio Holmes (Lisfranc) is still healing, or "milking the injury to protect his self interests."

The Bills are running away with their preseason game against the Colts, leading 44-20 with 5 minutes to go.
While the 1st team didn't do a whole bunch, many of the young players on the 2nd and 3rd teams are looking very good. It's looking like they had a hell of a draft, especially Goodwin who had 2 great kickoff returns (one of which was a TD).

I just watched former defensive rookie of the year get wet while failing at the qualifier round for American Ninja Warrior.

Just hope the Bills have a better finish to the season than last years, for a little bit I thought they were going to do something but nope typical Bills
