NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Tom Brady's (knee) teammates were "real down" and "very scared" after he left Wednesday's practice.

This is why you don't panic every time something happens. Don't forget, a sprain IS a tear. It just depends how bad it is. Cutler got shit for sitting out the second half of a playoff game with a knee sprain. Everyone called him a pussy for sitting out because it was just a sprain. It was a grade 2 MCL tear, aka a knee sprain.

Wasn't the dude in a bad way and more or less laid up in his house recently.

Yea, just heard that. Awfully quick to get an MRI result back. $$$ talks. Wasn't the dude in a bad way and more or less laid up in his house recently. I know he dealt with alcoholism for a while, & he may have been sick over the last year or two. The '85 Bears are still beloved in this city, & will be till the next time they win a Super Bowl (XLVIII!!!!! )

Skip Bayless @realskipbayless 34m
For a moment when TBrady went down, looked like Tebow was about to be starting QB of the NE Patriots. They would've kept right on winning.

@adamschefter A 2nd opinion on Chargers WR Malcom Floyd's knee revealed no structural damage. Time missed will depend on how he feels.

Yea, just heard that. Awfully quick to get an MRI result back. $$$ talks. Patriots have on site MRI machines. Didn't even think of that. Realistically all 32 teams should, but I wonder how many actually do Skip Bayless @realskipbayless 34m For a moment when TBrady went down, looked like Tebow was about to be starting QB of the NE Patriots. Yeah, I don't wish to test that Tebow theory in New England so Skip, just shut up.

I'm very tempted to say that Mark Sanchez is the worst starting QB in the entire league.

I'm very tempted to say that Mark Sanchez is the worst starting QB in the entire league. Well, now that Tavaris Jackson, Matt Cassell, and Brady Quinn are all in positions where they are not likely to start the only competition Sanchez has for the title of worst starting QB is Blaine Gabbert.

I remember watching my local NBC affiliate's (Boston's WHDH) news coverage and when the sports anchor mentioned Brady's MRI coming back negative, he reminded everyone that a "negative" result is actually a good thing which reminded me of this:
