I sometimes fall for stories that come from satirical sites that aren't The Onion.
....that is the extent of muy guilt in this matter.

There are so many satire sites that I have to pause now to see if something someone linked came from a real site, especially if it involves a politician saying something controversial. But I have fallen for a joke posted on ESPN on April Fool's Day in the past.
That said, I do love how people in that link tried to defend it as real

I rarely read The Onion. It's amusing, but I'm too focused on using the Daily Show for my "fake news" fix.
