Sheamus is out for months. Cena is out for months. Orton turned heel.
There's a vacuum effect incoming, and WWE needs to suck in top faces to fill those gaps. Punk's off continuing his feud with Heyman, so I won't count him. Do midcard faces like Cody, Dolph and Kofi only need a little bit of a push to get the ball rolling?
Who will join Daniel Bryan on this journey up the ladder of success?

Obviously Punk and Bryan are going to be the top faces, but yeah, Cody might be able to capitalize.

Obviously Punk and Bryan are going to be the top faces, but yeah, Cody might be able to capitalize. Judging from how they were talking tonight, I imagine they're going to point Cody at the WHC and have him win it. I'm thinking the RVD thing is just to give Ricardo something to do.

Cody is going to fail miserably if that's the case, crowd responses to him have been underwhelming. Maybe it's because the Sandow angle is just really stale...I don't see him being a breakthrough face though

Obviously Punk and Bryan are going to be the top faces Just imagine how that statement would've looked a couple years ago. It's incredible how quickly the WWE landscape's changed.

Maybe it's because the Sandow angle is just really stale...I don't see him being a breakthrough face though I think the angle has been the main problem. As the announcers showed when Cody sat with them, his angle with Sandow really doesn't make him the clear-cut face, given Sandow was just doing his job. It'll probably be better when he's doing something else.

I'm expecting Ziggy to get a solid spot, tonight proved he can be impressive against multiple foes and he represents vastly different things to Bryan.

Maybe it's because the Sandow angle is just really stale...I don't see him being a breakthrough face though Cody is fine in the spot he's in. They just need to give him a steady supply of good feuds and not fall into the same trap they did with Sheamus and Orton (and arguably Team Hell No before Bryan got really hot) by having him running over people in meaningless matches or randomly try to shoehorn him into stuff just because he's too important to not be doing anything.
