CM Punk CM PunkImagine if/when he cocks it all up, he'll be responsible for the two worst depictions of two separate superheroes. What's funny is that when I saw that I assumed he was talking about Snyder.

Just as long as it doesn't wind up like Daredevil I will give it a shot If it ends up like Daredevil Director's cut I will be thrilled since that is one of the best superhero films made. ^^THIS 1000x If you're bitching about Affleck as Daredevil, SHUT UP, go get the DIRECTOR'S CUT. Watch it and come back and tell us how Affleck was an awful Daredevil. Tip, you won't.

Daredevil had its share of problems.
Affleck was not one of them, in my opinion.
I'm completely confident he can handle this. Moreover, I think he'll have totally boffo chemistry with Henry Cavill's Superman.

Before Man of Steel came out, I was really excited at the chance for a Batman X Superman movie. But then Man of Steel came out, and now I really couldn't care less.

I consider this good news, in the sense this is stupid enough that I won't force myself to go see the thing only to walk away bored out of my mind like with Man of Steel.

Damn. Sounds like I dodged a bullet not seeing "Man Of Steel".
I'm pretty psyched about this new Batman, though.

I disagree - I watched the director's cut and while it was definitely a marked improvement over the theatrical release, it was still not anything great. It basically took a shitty film and made it passable. Affleck and Garner's performances were still very...uninspiring.

The more I think about this choice, the more I realize that it's a great one, at least in theory. I'm pulling for the Fleck.

Wow. Warner Brothers really has no clue how to make money with their properties. This is FAIL. How will this not make money? Affleck had a huge resurgence in the past couple of years and is a marquee name.

Affleck has won me over in recent years. I can see him playing a fantastic Bruce Wayne.
Problem is, I'm not so sure I buy him as Batman.

I really can't see Statham in the batsuit unless they're going full bore Frank Miller with the character, and I'm kinda burned out with that take on him. I'm looking forward to Benny's approach. Well, I said before I think he'd be great since, with a cowl on, he would look a lot like the Jim Lee drawn Bat, which they did use for the Frank Miller All Star Batman book. Plus, at least his fights are more interesting to me. Having Bale use "elbow-fu" most of the time in TDK rubbed me the wrong way. All Star Batman never existed. It was all in our heads, it's like a shared nightmare. Like has been said I won't get mad about this, I thought Heath Ledger would be bad as Joker. Also, the last time Affleck was affiliated with Superman in a movie, it was pretty damn good.

I don't have a problem with this. I wouldn't call it the right choice per se, not while Jon Hamm still lives and breathes, but it's not a bad one. The only thing that'll properly ruin this now is if they don't cast Bryan Cranston as Luthor.

Can you show some video proof that this Jon Hamm everybody keeps talking about would make a good Batman(mostly because I don't know who he is XD).
