The first time WWF aired in the UK on ITV, they opened up with a world of sport intro, mixed with their own names. So crazy to think WWF/E was on ITV

Listening to a bio on Titans Of Wrestling revealed this gem I cross-checked on WrestlingData:
July 14th, 1990. Boston Garden.
As a thank you for his years of service, "The Duke of Dorchester" Pete Doherty wrestled in his home area and beat Haku.
Yes. Haku graciously put him over.
(His last 2 matches were for All-star Can-Am in 1993, where he beat Perry Saturn by DQ and lost to Killer Kowalski.)

I believe the TBS intro with Ole remained intact for at least a week (and maybe way more?) once Black Saturday went down. --- I'm watching TNT from Jan. 86 and Capt. Lou described Animal Steele as "homicidal, suicidal!!" etc etc and very much sounded like proto-Paul E putting over Sabu a decade later.

I've never seen the Mighty Igor have a match. I've been intrigued by him, so I randomly searched.
Saw a match he had in 1987 against Jos LeDuc. In Puerto Rico.
And it was...frickin' awful!

Found an early Rick Rude match, back when he was called Ricky Rodd.

Going through some old DVDs and found this match, lucky the match is on YouTube...
"American Dragon" Bryan Daniel Bryan Danielson vs. pre-moustached dick-flippin Joey Ryan.

This is the first I've seen of this. I think Hogan lost at WrestleMania VI because he was looking past the Ultimate Warrior and thinking about his match with Bugs Bunny.

You know what, Hogan vs Bunny just might be my #1 dream match if we were cross-mixing any media and time period. Incidentally, if you thought Hulk no-sold too severely, Bugs no-sold being shot in the back with Elmer Fudd's hunting rifle.
